I've been using this scraper for two months on almost a daily basis during my home renovation. I used it on wood and tiles to scrape paint, along with paint remover and a hot gun. For example, I used it to remove about 20 layers of paint off a 1931 door frame (restoring). I also used it to break and remove tiles in my bathroom. I'm sure I used it for other things that I can't even remember, lol. Ok, this is a great scraper. I thought for a moment I was going to break the blade, because it got stuck between the tile and the cement, but it held strong. The blade is still sharp. If I ended up breaking this thing, I'll buy it again. It's serving more than its purpose. I also want to say that I bought other scrapers along with it but ended up using this one more than 99% of the time. I think this is my most generous review on Amazon so far ;) You're welcome, haha ... show more

I haven't even figured out what half the functions of this tool are, but it's already proven itself really useful and so helpful. The ability to quickly yank out nails and the tapered edge were great for tearing up the carpet tack strips in my room and getting everything off the walls to get ready to paint. Works great for smoothing drywall material over small blemishes as well and it's made from very sturdy metal. Buy one! You'll find a use for it! ... show more
