These 14" Clip In Real Human Hair Extensions came with hair care instructions but they did not include instructions about how to use them. I am a first time user of clip in hair extensions so I had no idea how to get these hair extensions to stay in. The first time that I tried to wear them I tried hooking the tiny comb clips in the extensions into the hair on the top of my head. These hair extensions slid down my head and wouldn't stay in. I had to go and ask the internet how to use hair extensions. I learned that one section of hair in a set of hair extensions is called a weft. Each weft in this set of extensions is about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" wide at the top. Most of the hair extensions in this set are sewn together at the top, the longest is about seven wefts wide. This set of extensions includes various widths of wefts that are sewn together plus two single weft extensions. I learned that to attach hair extensions into my real hair I had to begin at the nape of the neck. I piled my hair on top of my head and I got the widest extension, the one with seven wefts sewn together, anchored into my hair quite well. I was then supposed to drop one inch sections of my hair and add more hair extensions at one inch intervals working my way towards the top of my head. On my first try I was not successful in getting the second row of these extensions anchored into my real hair correctly, but, I expect that with practice I will get better at it. The quality of these hair extensions is very, very, good. The hair is soft and silky and has a great shine to it. I like how the bottom of each of these hair extensions is tapered. I am going to remove one star from my rating of these hair extensions due to the lack of instructions about how to use them. I specifically would like to see an illustration that shows how to get the look of the primary model's hair. I like the way that her hair is layered in towards her face. These are 14" Clip In Real Human Hair Extensions are very, very, nice. Four stars!
