I am so happy with this greenhouse! It took me about 45 minutes to assemble. That is saying something because I am not a fan of "some assembly required." It is larger and taller than I expected it to be. I am 5'11"and have plenty of room when standing up straight. The shelves could be of better quality, but I added them to the greenhouse using small zip ties, and they are very sturdy and can hold several pallets of seedlings. I was concerned that the airflow would not be enough since there was only one opening, but while the greenhouse became balmy quickly after putting on the covering, the air flowed through the door and below the cover. I'm going to install two small battery-operated clip-on fans. The covering is nice and clear and is actually of good quality. I can't believe how easy it was to assemble. It does what I want it to do. I live in SC and weather changes day to day. It got windy and it became a kite. All my pots broke. It’s not the items fault. It’s the human how didn’t weigh it down. But it works.

Arrived today with a huge hole and tear in the box, missing same wiring (I know bc another family member bought the same one). Hoping I can make it work.

    • Flimsy and weak

The product is weak. Doest not come with stakes so the wind does not blow it. Any breeze and it just gets torn apart. I’ve had it for two days and both nights I wake up and the pots I have in there are on the ground, because the plastic pieces holding the poles come apart after any breeze. The plastic to cover it ripped with the winds. The shelves have nothing to hold them down or get tied down. I had to use zip ties, once again because if didn't the wind would take them down. It just sucks. It is definitely not worth the $79 I paid for it. If I would’ve know it was that bad I would’ve never bought. ... show more

I rated this a 5 based on the price and how well it worked for me as an indoor greenhouse/seed starting space. Pros: Price is reasonable. Easy to assemble. Helps organize growing space. Helps keep humidity inside greenhouse. Large amount of growing areas to grow many seedlings. Negatives: Build quality is not real good. To move you need to lift from the bottom or slide the unit because the posts are not locked together and can come apart when lifting. The poles are not very durable. As an outdoor greenhouse, you need to protect it from high winds because it could easily be damaged. The unit is about 57 inches tall by 18 inches in depth and 24 inches in width. The unit has 4 shelves. The bottom 3 shelves have about 12" in height between shelves to grow your plants and place your lights if indoors. The top shelf has more space about 19 inches as designed. The unit has a see-through outer covering that easily zips open and closed and helps maintain the heat and humidity inside. For my usage, this worked great for me. I have a relatively small house and have been using an unused bathroom to grow my seedlings. It was getting very crowded and disorganized. This unit really helped me get organized. If you use a little ingenuity you can make this even better. First, I lined the outside of the greenhouse with a highly reflective white plastic film that will help reflect light back at the plants and optimize my grow lights. You can see it in my picture. I also lined the front by attaching it to the door. When I close the front door and zip it up, it reflects light all back to the interior maximizing the effects of my grow lights. Second, I extended the top with some heavy duty wire to hang a good grow light I have and allow me to grow my tomato plants quite tall before final transplant outside. This was on the top level that allowed me 19 inches of growth and that was extended another 6 inches or so with my modification. Third, the next highest shelf, I hung a double light under the shelf and was able use almost the full 12 inches space between the shelves for plant growth. My bottom 2 shelves I used for my seed starter kits that have there own lights. There is a lot of room for many plants at different stages of development. The width of the unit allows for placing a large planting tray. The depth allows for a number of different arrangements. You will want to have some waterproof trays and bottom liner as shown in my picture if using inside. Outside that won't be a worry. I would not want to use this outside unless it was protected from wind. It could easily be blown down and damaged. I really like how this has helped me organize and optimize the limited grow space I have in my bathroom. ... show more

We had to supplement sever pieces and connectors with PVC as the parts were not included in the original shipment. Disappointed - as well as no instructions for assembly were included.
