The media could not be loaded. I was a little skeptical about this because I wasn't sure if it would be cheap looking ... however, after giving it a try, I am very impressed at how these give photography or wall art a professional/expensive look. Installation is so easy ... you basically put a couple screws in or a sticker and it's affixed to the wall. I do like that you can angle it how you want in order to highlight a painting thanks to its magnetic swivel neck. Tilting it downward illuminates a longer/bigger painting ... whereas to highlight a smaller frame or area, you can push the head inward more. The way the neck connects to the piece that lights us works incredibly well and its amazing how powerful yet flexible the magnet is which connects the two pieces. I like the matte black look, however one thing I don't love as much is the shiny gold trim, which makes it look more plastic-like than the black part. Of course metal would look better than plastic but at under $20, I expected this to be mostly made of plastic. The drawback to this vs. plug in units is that the light doesn't exactly last a long while. Although easy to remove from the wall to re-charge you get between 4 - 6 hours of light per charge. So, if you use these each day to illuminate, you'll need to recharge each night. There is no battery power indicator, so you have to keep track of how much juice is likely left. You get a remote control with a timer and a cycle-through of all the colors. It has 3 different 'white' modes ... warm and fluorescent ... which do work as LED, so there will be strobing not visible to the naked eye. You also get plenty of colors. In order to switch colors and/or turn the light off/on, there is a silver button on the back/top of the light. You do need the remote for the timer feature. Overall, this is a cheap and easy to install way to give your wall art a professional/museum look. When you have a few of these in a row, it looks really cool. Sure, there are better made/better looking cordless picture lights out there ... but these are the cheapest I've seen and they do what they say they will. I have my vintage French posters looking tip top thanks to these and will be getting more for the framed sports jerseys I have in my 'man cave'. ... show more

Recently ordered this for my headboard because when I use my nightstand bed light it only lights up that side of the bed. Sometimes I need to see the whole area I'm sleeping in and this does that. I mounted it in the center of my headboard with the double sided tape provided. The magnet that connects the light with the base is very strong and allows it to swivel in whatever direction. The base has a ball at the end of the stem that fits into the magnetized ball shaped hole in the light. Battery life is sufficient but this isn't a light I'd keep on for hours and expect it to still be charged. I recharge it every 5 days so far and it recharges fast. It also has auto shutoff after so many minutes or hours of being left on. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a little extra light where a lamp just won't fit. ... show more

I use this as a reading light for 1 of our boys so they can read before bed and not have to get up to shut their main light off. It's perfect for this. I haven't had any issues so far. The on "button" is sensitive but thats ok. There was a charging cord and remote included. I have not wall mounted it yet, so can not say how well it would stick. I do think it would work well for accent lighting especially because it won't be constantly taken down. It does feel a little "cheaper" then others but for normal use I dont expect to have any issues with it. I haven't checked how long it stay charged ona full charge. This is only used as a reading light before bed. ... show more
