This was a gift for my husband to house his hand painted figurines. The trays are magnetic enough to hold them properly but not too strong to where it destroys them when being removed. The color was as expected and very well made. This size can fit an entire Warhammer collection. The assembly was simple with only needing to remove film from the trays and insert them into the box. The locks keep all the figurines protected from our 3 year olds sticky fingers lol. Great price for the item recieved.

I've been through a number of magnet tray 40K cases, and this is one of the best I've found- for less than half the price usually paid! I rarely write reviews, but I just had to for this case! Pros: * Lots of space! Tray height is very easily adjusted. * It's light for its size. I am getting about 50% more storage capacity out of this case than the last one for the same models, and this weighs less. I believe the weight savings is in the walls not being made out of metal. (But, they are still sturdy enough. And the frame does seem to be made of metal.) * The front window door closes and latches. It even comes with a lock and key. * The foam walls that hold the tray edges are smooth and well affixed to the case walls/ solid. The interior feels well made. * The six trays provided are high quality. They also indent downward, and at a relatively sharp angle, so that storage space is not lost to tray contour space. * The handle at the top feels well made. Cons: * The only real con for this case is the trays slide very easily along the foam, and they don't fill the space all the way to the front window, so they WILL slide forward and hit the front window when the case is tipped forward at all. Design-wise, I actually think it's good to have a little space in the front, in case models have elements sticking forward past the front lip of the tray. But meanwhile, this sliding is unnerving. The solution, though, is simple: The case is shipped with shipping foam that fills that space perfectly. So, I will either use the foam in its full size, or, cut out its middle so that a spacer frame is formed. This will keep the trays from sliding, and anyone can do it. * This tray is not made for traveling. It is perfect for car transport to the gaming store, but I would never check this thing on an airplane. For the reasonable price, I can't ask for more. Well done! I will probably be buying another one for a different army soon!

This is exactly what yo want from a carry case. The latches are sturdy and they can be locked to keep them in place and prevent the door from opening when you don’t want it to. The plastic window on the front is very durable for being so thin. The carry handle is very well built and holds up to some rough movement. The trays inside are very solid and slide in the spaces very smoothly while also holding in place rather well. There’s plenty of space to fit a decent number of models both large and small, I’d say it’d likely hold a 2,000 point 40K army but it’d be a rather snug fit. It’s not waterproof, but the door seals shut well enough that I don’t think it’s a concern to carry to and from a shop in the rain. The price is competitive for other cases and the quality definitely holds its own. If you’re looking for a case to store and transport models, this is definitely a very good option and I’ll likely pick up additional ones for my other models in the future.

The small one is great for carrying a 2000 point army somewhere very easily. Everything is very well built. The only thing I don’t like are the trays. They’re chrome and just not as good as the black ones that come with the larger one. They’re kind of bent in in spots making fitting models (with flat bases of course) an issue due to the non-flat nature. Also the texture I’m just not a fan of. My friend got the bigger one because he needed a case to carry everything he owned rather than my single army desire and his trays just seem way better, flatter, and nicer when models are moved across it.

The case is very well put together and not a problem to carry around. The trays slide in and out easily. You can leave the foam in the door to protect the miniatures or remove to display them a little. This was a great purchase for my little army.

Really fantastic case. It's not indestructible, I definitely wouldn't give this to an airline as checked baggage, but for hand carrying your army it's spot on. The trays are nice as are the dense foam sides that the tray grooves are cut into. Looks sleek and sexy and can transport at least 2000 points of Adepta Sororitas (see pictures). I'll be buying a second for my Tyranids soon.

Bought the large size to upgrade my old one. Quality is great, feels durable and comes with foam to put between the glass trays during transportation. Also, I really like that it has locks. About to get a bunch of tyranids from some family and wanted to keep my Blood Angels and them together. With as much room as I have left, I think I'll be okay.
