This is an absolutely incredible tool. If I could give this 6 stars, I would. Let me start by saying don't let the price fool you, this press and the jaws included in the set are every bit as well-built and rugged anything Milwaukee, Ridgid or Dewalt are putting out at 4x the cost. The unit is compact so it fits in tight spaces, the swivel head is an excellent feature, the rubberized finish is durable, the exposed steel parts and the jaws are very well machined, and the crimping speed is extremely fast. The change-out of the jaws is simple and the action is very positive. The included carrying case is heavy duty and definitely falls into the category of professional grade. Let me also give a very high compliment to Zupper's customer service and standing behind their product - even when it wasn't their fault. My first order shipment was lost by FedEx. When I contacted Zupper, within 4 hours I had an email reply informing me that they would investigate the matter and would return my email with a follow up as soon as they knew more. About 4 hours later, I received an email that they believed FedEx lost my order and would be sending me another replacement unit immediately. I was stunned. The next morning, I had a tracking # for the replacement shipment. Well, FedEx finally found the original order and delivered it to me, so I returned it to Zupper. I was very impressed with their communication, customer service, and follow through. I would recommend them without reservation and feel good about any future need to contact them. They will stand behind their products.

Light affordable excellent quality and value.

How can I describe my tool. 2 words: impeccable and quality. The build of the tool is clearly superior. It is light and extremely fast . It was delivered in 2 days and early. The people that design and build these tools at Zupper are clearly underestimated and have created a top of the line press tool. I was able to finish the connections for a hose bib in the garage in little time and I had no leaks. The head where the jaws attach to, rotates. The batteries were fully charged and functional out of the case! The device has indicator lights for complete presses and illumination at the base for working in low light. The prime mover mechanism is a mechanical screw drive. Which makes very fast. I chose this because of the intense heat where I live and where the tool will be stored. I have not tested battery compatibility yet with Makita but I am sure that will not be an issue. Great product! I am very happy with the press tool and highly recommend it for everyone.

Cheap but not skipping on quality

I will start by saying as a licensed plumber I have used several brands and models of press tool, from Ridgid to Milwaukee to Nibco. I use an M12 for work daily and have access to M18 as well for larger pressing. When I first received the press to I pressure tested some pipe to 85psi and the tool held pipe held for a week before I let the air out. This tool definitely is punching above its class. I got the compact rotating head model, the MP 2430 I believe. The pressing motion is significantly faster than the M12 and maybe even faster than the M18. This tool has Makita battery ports so I bought 6.0 aftermarket Makita batteries to carry in the box instead of the provided 2.0s. The tool has good ergonomics and the rotating head is awesome. Not as light as the M12 but its an 18v tool so thats expected, even though the press at the same force 5400lbs. I currently have 225 presses on this guy and counting. This will be my everyday press tool until my M12 is fixed, it took a crap right after I received this Zupper, good timing I guess. Definitely worth the money and sidenote: the M12 Megapress jaws are compatible since Zupper doesnt make ones for the compact press models. This is great on battery life, sounds good while pressing, is fast and efficient, and so far as reliable as press kits $2500 and up. Portable and compact while being simple and reliable is makes this worth every penny.

Comprehensive Review - 50 Presses In
- At this price point I was skeptical about this thing working at all ...but it does. - I'm 50 presses in with NO LEAKS. I used Viega branded fittings, 3/4" and 1/2" only. - The materials are FANTASTIC. It feels just as solid as any Dewalt tool. - It's heavy, beefy, soft plastic grip, and fast. - The jaws are seriously heavy duty and clearly marked. - It's true that the head does NOT rotate but didn't cause me any problems working in some pretty tight (4") spacing. - I did all 50 presses on one charge, no problem. And I think the battery (it comes with two) is still looking well charged. - Pressing quirk: The automatic release after press feature failed about 50% of the time with 3/4" fittings and about 25% of the time with 1/2" fittings. My first press was a little confusing because the tool didn't open back up the jaws, beep, or show anything on the screen indicating the press is done. And when it doesn't auto release, you can't get your fitting completely out of the jaws. ... So you just have to tap the press button again for a sec, and the jaws will open just fine. It does open and does not go for another press. - The button needs a guard of some type. I probably pressed it 4 times by accident. It's no big-e. The tool doesn't do a full press when that happens. It was just annoying. - Storage case is well made. - Pro-tip: The jaws fit in the tool easily but a bit 'loose'. This means the jaws can be 1 or 2 degrees off when not engaged. BUT as soon as the tool starts pressing, that 1 or 2 degrees straightens out and could move a fitting if you're butted up against a joist or something ridged.

Great price Quality tool.

MP-2430 I have never used a press tool before but I had to fix a 3/4 copper pipe at my home that’s been there for a few years and was tired of seeing it. I purchased both the Vevor and Zupper to compare them and have returned the Vevor. It presses faster than the M12 pro press based on videos I’ve seen l, overall pretty satisfied with the tool. The tool feels well balanced in the hand with the jaws on and is easily operable with one hand. It looks similar to the Vevor pro press but this one has 1/2 to 1 1/4 jaws and is brushless also the Vevor with the jaws on feels heavier on one side and for all day use or multiple presses I could see it getting difficult in tight situations. Also before purchasing I reached out to both Vevor and Zupper and I got a response from Zupper pretty quick and have not heard anything from Vevor so based on customer support I chose the Zupper. UPDATE Sept 2026. Still have the tool still works great. I have done a couple more projects like relocating our washer and dryer and used copper pipe with Viega fittings no leaks what so ever. I also purchased the zupper actuator jaws to help me in tight spaces all worked great. The only thing when using the different jaws with the actuator was the light would turn red rather then green when pressing. I reached out to Zupper and they told me as long as the jaws pressed it was good and because I’m using different jaws that the ones it came with it would light up red and I believe they will be fixing that with future models. I haven’t had any leaks and have done repairs on my rental. Good tool for a great price don’t Sleep on it.

Amazing affordable tool

Amazing, especially for the price, they're customer service is also very responsive and helpful, 80 presses so far and zero leaks, I'm a home owner so not a pro, but this seems faster than the ridgid or Milwaukee presses. The general contractor I'm working with was shocked how well it worked. Battery life is great, it's not too heavy and compatible with Viega fittings. Highly recommend for any homeowner to have one, one repair using this will pay it's price, easy to fix leaks with Propress

This pro press made my life so much easier I take care of a lot of apartments for my boss when you have a tenant living there and you have a leak you want to get in and out. with this Tool I am in and out in no time at all. This thing is solid, well built, and works perfectly. I've made 40-50 presses and no problems. Skip the big expensive name brands and grab it. And if you also want to get some pex jaws for pex B, this company doesn't make them, but the Milwaukee compact and dewalt compact jaws interchange with this tool. I verified with Zupper which would interchange, and now have one of each of those brands for my pex jaws. Work perfectly together
