I did like the next day shipping even though I had to return the item. After reading all the Pro and Con comments, I ordered and paid for the LARGE version with the Linear Bearings on the X and Y Axis due to the beefier mechanics and the small cost difference. Notice the photo of the received unit does not have the Linear Bearings. I expected the best but received somewhat less than I paid for. The model shipped to me came in a box that appeared to have been opened more than a few times. Some of the labeling on the box had been removed or covered by some blank stick-on labels. There was no model number anywhere on the box so shipping the wrong model was understandable. In addition to all that, there was none of the attachment items, crank handles, clamps etc. anywhere to be found in the shipping box. I suspect that I have received a previously returned item. Totally unacceptable! Amazon is immediately shipping me an exact replacement for the one I ordered... I hope they don't send me an exact replacement for the one I received. UPDATE... Amazon came through again. The 2nd shipment arrived in the same type unmarked box (except for a factory number on the side). The new LARGE unit is exactly as described. There is a little backlash in the X-direction that may be able to be adjusted out. The Y-direction is positive and very little backlash. Very usable as-is. I will be attaching dial indicators to both Axis so any backlash not adjusted out will not be a problem. I don't know why the company is making the 2 smaller items, the difference between the medium and LARGE size is night and day. The smallest size must really be terrible compared to the 2 that I have reviewed. Overall... I am happy with my purchase and ready to put it and my tabletop drill press together and have some productive playtime this weekend. ... show more

Two things don't make me happy. These are a large and irreparable gaps (0.3 mm) in the connection between the threaded studs and the lead screw nuts on both axles. And secondly is the lack of bolts for attaching to the NICCOO MiniBench Drill 5156E. Standard bolts have a small head and are not suitable for fastening. ... show more

I was planning on modifying my drill press to use as a lightweight milling machine. This compound table was perfect for that application. I'm happy with the purchase. Apparently, based on the reviews, this "Large" version is much better than the 2 smaller ones. I was impressed with the ball bearings on the rails and overall impressed with the product. As for converting your drill press to even a lightweight milling machine, good luck with that. After spending a couple hundred dollars on conversion to collets, shrink fitting the collet holder to the press spindle etc. it was obvious the standard bench top drill press is not anywhere near ridged enough to mill even aluminum. So I will keep this device as its great for drilling precision located holes etc. ... show more

I have yet to use this item because I need more bolts to mount a vice on it. The bolts are non-standard and I've found none on internet. I need them so I can mount a vice on the table. Also, ruler on the table was missing.
