I ordered a 1L glass casserole dish which had a lid with two side handles instead of a single one on top, so the lid could be used as a serving dish as well. Instead I received a dish with the more traditional lid style with a single handle on top, and the product page had been changed to reflect the style I actually received. In addition, the lid fits poorly onto the dish; in some orientations it doesn't fit, in others it fits but sticks so it becomes hard to remove. I noticed initially in the description that the lid wasn't oven safe, but it wasn't until later that I noticed it also is not microwave safe. At that point the lid is basically just for storage in the refrigerator or for transporting food in the casserole from one place to another. The limitations with the lid definitely takes away a lot of the versatility of the casserole dish itself. The casserole itself though seems durable and well made. The glass is clear and it had no chips or defects. Items heat up well the casserole, and it has good size handles so it is easy to hold and move from one place to another. It is also easy to use for food storage, and the lid does come in handy for that aspect. I did put the casserole in the dishwasher and it came out fine with no issues at all so cleanup is easy. ... show more
