first off, this printer is insanely good and easy to use, especially for the price!! amazing print quality, big print bed, easy to use slicer and it was so easy to put together! i’ve already printed so much on it! i’ve used PLA and PTEG and they both printed perfectly. Unfortunately one day i came home to a failed print that did not stick (I should’ve wiped the bed down with rubbing alcohol first) and it was pushing filament out for around 4 hours. it ended up getting backed up and got into the extruder. i was very sad cus id only had the printer for about a week. so i messaged the seller on here asking where i can find a new extruder, and in not even a hour he messaged back and asked me to send pics of it. when he looked he told me i just need to replace the hot end and that they would send one out to me!! he even sent a video on how to do it. there ended up being a problem with the delivery, so i messaged again and they sent another one out so quickly!!! now my printer is back to printing perfectly!!! I’ve honestly never had a better customer service experience on here. This is easily the best printer in this price range. i can tell why it has such a high rating!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've got a small fleet of various FDM printers. This one is hands-down my favorite after just over a month of use. It 'just works', and it has since shortly after I got it unboxed. The short version of my review is simple: If you are considering an FDM printer, this is the best bed slinger that I have found under $500. Assembly took about 15 minutes. There's really almost nothing to it. Unfortunately, my unit must have gotten jostled during shipping because it did not power on. I contacted the manufacturer and had a response before the next morning. After removing the bottom plate of the plastic base, I was able to find the loose connector which had fallen out of the motherboard and plug it back in. Up and running in notime. Pressing the 'autolevel' button got the bed probed, and I was off and running. Both the small bunny from the included gcode files and a standard calibration cube printed with no issues, so I started off on some of the flexi pieces that I print the most of. No issues, and they came out easier than on any of the other dozen machines that I have running. This one came with a glass bed instead of the PEI that I was expecting. Everything sticks very well to this bed after the initial auto level is run. From the video, you'll note that I do have some gouges on the bed I am still using. I tried swapping in a PEI sheet I had around, just clipped to the baseplate so that I could try to see if I wanted to make a permanent swap. When I went back to the glass, I forgot to re-level the bed before walking away for a while. I dragged the nozzle all over the bed, ruining the nozzle and gouging the bed. Fortunately, everything on the hotend is pretty easy to work on due to the detachable design and I was able to swap it out and relevel with no issues at all. I've had the entire hotend apart to fix a clog. No issues getting to any of it, and much simpler than most of my machines. I love the ease of maintenance as well as the general ease of use for the machine. Without spending significant time tuning a profile, it produces very nice prints. Spend the time to dial in retraction settings and flow rates for the filament you're using and you can get even better. What's more, support is easy to get when you need it and the manufacturer's supply of spare parts is readily available and reasonably priced. ... show more

I've had the Magician X2 going on two weeks now and enjoy it very much. It came packaged well (shipped in two days via prime); I found the instructions easy to follow and helpful, and the printer was easy to assemble. The printer comes with a SD card preloaded with all of the necessary files and software needed to get started, also included is some filament to print the test rabbit as well as a few other things. Out of the box and printing in less than 15 mins. The test print rabbit came out looking pretty nice with just a tiny amount of stringing at the top of the ears. The Magician X2 is really quiet and continues to print without any issues. You have three options to print, thumb drive SD or directly connecting to your pc via USB to USB-C to the USB-C port on the printer (you can also monitor the print time through this connection). I looked at several different 3d printer reviews in this price range and the Magician X2 seemed to work as it should and had minimal cons. Their customer service responds quickly and provides answers to questions asked. Overall the X2 is a solid printer that is hassle-free and works. 3d prints come out looking great.
