I ordered for my grandson for Christmas. He is a lanky 6 year old. I think I ordered up to the 7-8 year old and it fit great. Soft & warm. Saw almost the same thing in Walmart in boys department after Christmas for about 1/2 the price though.

My son is 6 years old, a little under 4ft, Bought the 5-6 size and it was just a tad on the short side for him in the legs, I returned and got a 7-8 size and it’s a much better fit.
