  • My Thoughts on Mind’s Eye
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
I really tried to give Mind’s Eye a fair shot. I went in with low expectations, just hoping it’d be at least somewhat functional. Instead, what we got was a buggy, undercooked mess that felt rushed out the door and buried under marketing fluff. Newsflash: people noticed. Let’s talk about the AI—if you can even call it that. I’ve seen smarter logic in robotic vacuums. And the performance? Constant stutters and frame drops, even on solid hardware. Did optimization even make it into the dev checklist? This was supposed to be a “next-gen immersive” experience. In reality, it feels more like an unfinished tech demo pretending to be a full game. Most of the features they hyped either aren’t in the game, barely function, or feel like placeholders. And please don’t fall for the whole “we’ll fix it post-launch” routine. If you’re going to release something in this rough of a state, don’t charge full price for it. Honestly, the whole thing reeks of a rushed project driven more by financial deadlines than actual care for quality. It feels like the devs were ignored, the vision was muddled, and it all got slapped together last minute. If they’d spent half the time refining the actual gameplay as they did promoting it, we might’ve had something worth playing. Bottom line: Mind’s Eye is a mess. The only thing it successfully delivers is a heavy dose of disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and skip this one. ... show more

  • Pretty good but…
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Started playing this yesterday and it’s pretty good. Storyline is keeping me engaged since this is a story driven game. Only problem I have might be with the combat. Could feel a little janky at times, could have been better. But still I think this is worth a play through

Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Impossible for me to get past the CPR mini game at the start of the game. I tried over 10 times adjusted the difficulty to easy and still can’t get through it this needs a bypass option or the controls need adjusted I’ve seen it completed on the PC version.

  • Worst game of 2025.
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Worst game of 2025. Buggy. Doesn't run. This game needs at least another year of developing. This game feels like it's 30% complete. Save your money. I warned you. lol.

  • Average Game Nothing More Nothing Less
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
Mindseye is a run of the mill generic GTA clone. Think Watchdogs but with none of the unique “hacking” gameplay. The game itself looks great. Cutscenes are done very well and the visuals are up to par with current games. However the gameplay is so cookie cutter and safe that it can get super boring after a few hours. You have the same mission type over and over again. Sit through a 5 minute cutscene, drive all the way across the map to get to your objective, fumble with horrible cover based shooting and then sit through another cutscene. Then repeat until you’ve completed the game. Definitely a “wait for a sale” game. But in no universe is this the worst game of all time, let alone worst game of 2025. It’s the most high profile game this year simply because of who made it. If this came from EA or Activision you wouldn’t be seeing a constant stream of hate and exaggerated issues that the game doesn’t actually have. I paid my $60 to play the game unlike most people that parrot what angry reviewers, who are mad they didn’t get a free copy of the game, say. ... show more

  • A New IP With Potential
Hardware Platform: PlayStation 5
The introduction of a new intellectual property is refreshing and much needed in the gaming landscape, especially as many players grow weary of repetitive content. This game, set in a futuristic Las Vegas, showcases stunning visuals and immense potential, yet it appears to have been released prematurely, reminiscent of the Cyberpunk 2077 situation. I have faith in the developers and recognize the challenges they face, which is why I chose to support them by purchasing a physical copy. It is crucial for the revenue to flow so that they can address the game's optimization issues, bugs, AI shortcomings, and combat mechanics. Additionally, the game lacks interactive activities and features underdeveloped areas, such as a more diverse array of gangs and a functional police system. Players should have the freedom to engage with the environment, whether it be carjacking vehicles or exploring casinos and nightclubs. The game requires careful polishing and attention to detail, and it would be beneficial for established developers like Naughty Dog or Rockstar to lend their expertise. As a fan of "Mindseye," I am willing to wait six months to a year for significant improvements, and I encourage the team to stay motivated and committed to making this new IP truly exceptional. ... show more
