The bendable arm has a some type of insulation and it began to come off the light and the box. I used acrylic clear caulking to fix this. I’m not sure of the battery life. I’ve had it for about a month and no changing batteries yet (and I use the unit a lot). It does take 3x AA batteries. Other than a very small issue of the plastic arm cover coming off the unit and its function and its features are great! I use this product with its red color setting to pee at night without disturbing my night vision or sleep cycle, and it works flawless for me. ... show more
