I’m new to riding motorcycles and this was my first jacket purchase. I love jackets. I’m a jacket junkie and have way too many. Just never can find the perfect jacket. I ordered this really knowing nothing at all about riding jackets. I read the reviews and saw the same comments about armor and protection. I wanted something that was mesh, not leather, as it would be warm to hot during most of my riding season. I guess I didn’t read the description well enough, as when the jacket arrived I was really surprised! First off, the weight got me. I’ve never had a jacket weigh so much! (Stop laughing, I didn’t know.) Yeah, the armor takes up weight and I didn’t think about the fact that you are pretty much always sitting while wearing it. Then I noticed the lining. Or “linings”! I didn’t realize it had a removable lining, let alone two linings that are interchangeable. As we’ve gone from hot to warm to cool, I’ve loved that I can switch between the liners for the best temp. It fits great, if maybe a bit too tight, but that may be me. Pockets? There are a ton and I honestly only use the four on the outer jacket. The description does so much hype on the pockets that I almost didn’t buy it, but I’m glad I did as the overall usability is off the charts for me. Four jackets in one! What a fantastic jacket! I included pictures, since the ones on the Amazon ad didn't serve it any justice. At 200 lbs, 5'8. I ordered an Xl which fit fine[ size]. It will take wearing it abit, to get it broke in. Its heavy, but a very very good quality jacket. And the price is fantastic compared to other ones like it. Milwaukee makes a great product. This one has abit of a dirty look, which i don't mind. And wind resistant is very good. I expect this to be the last jacket I ever need. ... show more

I am a 285lb male that is 6'3" tall. I ordered the 3xl. In the mirror it looks like it fits me. When I raise my arms the waist rises above the belt but being a short cut type jacket this is to be somewhat expected. Crossing my arms across my chest doesn't make the arms overly tight but overall I think I would like a more loosely fitting jacket. I still have to go for a ride with it to give it a proper test. There is a main zipper and another zipper right away that is separate for the liner. This inner zipper does seem a bit cheap as others have said in other reviews. The top part of the jacket that covers the shoulders and meets up with the striping is a shiny fake leather type material. This was a surprise because the "black" option doesn't convey this in the photos. The armor doesn't seem to interfere with the fit or function of the jacket which was a relief. Overall, I'm going to give it a shot but am not feeling it is worth the $170. I don't think it's a value for the price point. ... show more

Whether with the liner zipped in for cooler weather or removed for summer riding, this jacket performs and looks sharp doing it. DO NOT BUY! THIS JACKET WILL NOT PROTECT YOU! I was wearing this jacket when I got into a crash and it immediately tore to shreds on the ride like it wasn’t even there. Absolutely trash! It should be illegal to advertise this as a safety jacket.

It's a nice, generic looking riding jacket that's not too flashy or "track bike"y if you get what I mean. It's true to size to me. I normally wear a large shirt and ordered an XL which is typically the jacket size I wear.
