First off, this is a great price point. Under $50 for an armored sweatshirt is excellent. But then there’s the quality. The fabric is thick and feels soft to the touch. At first it felt awkward putting it on, but when it’s on it just feels like I’m in a normal hoodie. The zippers for the pockets are not cheap. Thick and durable feeling. The fit is excellent. I took an XL. I’m 6’0 215, and broader shoulders. My normal size for a hoodie is XL so the sizing for me is exact. I’m sitting here with it on while giving this review and is so comfortable I’ve decided to buy one in another color as well.

Fit was spot on. Quality is good. The hood is small but who cares it cant fir over a helmet anyway. The armor is on the softer side but still provides some protection. Shipping took a Super Long Time! Around a whole month. But its a small growing business so ill give a pass for that. Overall a good product for the price.

VERY comfy, I wish I would’ve gotten a size bigger (I got XL) but I like baggy shirts/hoodies but I’m 6’1” and around 200lb and it fits good, not too snug, not too baggy. They have button style straps to strap to your belt so it doesn’t ride up your back at higher speeds, I’ve worn it while on the highway when it was 30° and I was warm the whole ride. The weight is a good quality kind of weight, not way too heavy but you can definitely tell you’re wearing it. I love the style and the breathability, it had great warmth and good pads. I’d definitely buy it again!

Im usually an xl and based on the reviews being true to size, thats what i ordered. However upon trying it on, i was swimming in this...arms were too long and just too big overall...i returned it and ordered a Large instead. The material is nice and cozy, although the back pad was put on backwards and most of the pads were curled from shipping...anyway they arent really gripes just observations, but i know i will like this when i get the right size... Update: just received the sweater in the Large size and it fit how i wanted it, however this particular one had tiny specs of oil spot in the front that is noticeable and the front was pilly. The curled padding from shipping is easily corrected buy massaging it and mold it to your body...i had to rework the pads to the desire shape which wasnt hard to do. I still think its a great value for 40 bucks however i wish it was perfect like how i received the XL the first time. Like alot of people said in their reviews, it is hard to put on and even harder to pull off especially if you get sweaty underneath...but worth the effort for the safety and want to look casual when you ride. They should make a zip up hoodie version with padding...that would make it a lot easier to put on and take off.

I purchased a black BKYR hoodie for me and a grey one for my wife. I was so surprised by how thick, solid, and comfortable they were. You can wear them with the armor, or wear them casually without it. I just want to wear them all the time in my rotation of hoodies because they are warm and comfortable. I wear them casually without the armor. I am so pleased with these hoodies. If my wife would let me, I would buy all the colors. Like one reviewer mentioned, a little difficult to put on with the armor, but once it’s on, you can ride in peace and comfort. BYKR produced a quality product with this hoodie. I would encourage you to give it a try. Johnnie Walker.

Edit: Update, the hoodie started to rip at the armpits on both sides. It’s not like I’m tearing at it to get it off, I don’t recommend it anymore. I was concerned it would be a bit *too* snug, but the large fits perfect. I’m a stockier build and it fits my chest and shoulders which is what I was most concerned about. It tighter where it should be (back, shoulders, and arms) and has wiggle room where it should which would be the seams connecting the sleeves to the torso. It hugs my waist comfortably. As far quality, I have an Alpinestars armored hoodie and this brand, BYKR, is definitely comparable but for a 4th of the price. I bought this to just give it a shot as I’m dropping weight and the XL Alpinstars hoodie I have is too loose now. I expect this large to fit just as well at 170lbs, currently ~200lbs. The zippers in the pocket don’t feel cheap and there is no issues with the stitching at all. Granted it’s still summer, but it feels warm and comfy. Time will tell as far as how long it holds up. My Alpinestars hoodie is going in two and half years. Right now, I have no reason to suspect it won’t unless you know…I lay my bike down. Easy recommend and I’ll probably buy another in a couple months if this holds up as I believe it should.

This thing works really well as far as fitting with the pads, but the zipper does not work as well considering the zipper broke the first time I used it so if you don’t mind the zipper, not working then it’s worth the money i would like a refund or replacement caue the zipper beoke within 3 days days
