Followed the instructions. Was pleased first use but frustrated that you had to jiggle them a bunch to get one side to engage after the other did. I am a GC and was really hoping to use this feature to stash my rollers in the back seat while at the store. Sadly one of the lockers has already broken off after just three uses. Now I’m going to have to drill everything out and install larger screws to make the handle permanent again. This might be ok for occasional non-professional use but totally worthless otherwise. Bummer. Seemed like a great idea. I’d be happy to try a redesigned product but it’d have to be a significant redesign to make me reconsider. At least they were relatively cheap (unlike my time and frustration)

Normally Milwaukee designs all tools and equipment with nothing left for chance. To design this and not fit in the back of a full size truck bed that has a cover was really dumb. I guess Milwaukee listened and came out with a fully collapsable handle that would fit in the back of a truck. I did not want to spend the money on a new one due to the one I bought was only a year old. I did a little searching and found this easy fix on Amazon. Really cheap too! Its an easy install and works as intended.

The product is great and works perfectly. Only down side I noticed after a month is the piece the holds the pin out isn’t very strong. It has started to mushroom out. The product still works but i have a feeling I’ll have to buy a new one every 6 months with daily usage

These screws have a spring loaded pin inside. They allow a pull and quarter turn to disengage the retaining pin and remove the handle which makes it quick to remove. There is a very small pin that actually holds the handle in. The install kit comes with a drill bit which is used to enlarge the hole in the plastic case, then a bolt that you use to thread the plastic. If you use the knurled pins you can damage them. Threading the plastic to insert these pins seems kind of cheesy. It works but I thought these were going to be metal pins that threaded into the handle to secure it

This is a poor design. The pins are not long enough. The threading tool is just a bolt. The threaded sleeve is not strong enough to hold up during installation. By the time I realized they would not work my box was ruined to the point I could not use the original screws to secure the handle. I am glad I did not spend more. It was a waste of my time and money. They are super flimsy.
