This is a great solution. High quality pins that fit perfectly. Comes with drill bit, and a bolt to tap (thread) the hole. Milwaukee should have done this from the factory. When installing attach the bolt to a socket and screwdriver (not a ratchet). The screwdriver makes it much easier to make a straight tap and doesn't over power the action. Install the pins by hand. Turn them slowly so you don't go too deep. Place your finger inside the channel so you can feel the pin protruding. When the pin is in the "release mode" it should be flush with the inside of the channel. It should not be protruding. I also drilled out the factory holes in the handle's shafts to make a better fit with the pins. This might sound complex but it's easy. I installed two packets in 20 minutes.

Followed the instructions. Was pleased first use but frustrated that you had to jiggle them a bunch to get one side to engage after the other did. I am a GC and was really hoping to use this feature to stash my rollers in the back seat while at the store. Sadly one of the lockers has already broken off after just three uses. Now I’m going to have to drill everything out and install larger screws to make the handle permanent again. This might be ok for occasional non-professional use but totally worthless otherwise. Bummer. Seemed like a great idea. I’d be happy to try a redesigned product but it’d have to be a significant redesign to make me reconsider. At least they were relatively cheap (unlike my time and frustration)

The product is great and works perfectly. Only down side I noticed after a month is the piece the holds the pin out isn’t very strong. It has started to mushroom out. The product still works but i have a feeling I’ll have to buy a new one every 6 months with daily usage

Normally Milwaukee designs all tools and equipment with nothing left for chance. To design this and not fit in the back of a full size truck bed that has a cover was really dumb. I guess Milwaukee listened and came out with a fully collapsable handle that would fit in the back of a truck. I did not want to spend the money on a new one due to the one I bought was only a year old. I did a little searching and found this easy fix on Amazon. Really cheap too! Its an easy install and works as intended.

I've had these on my box for a couple months and I really like how easy it is to remove and install the handle. However, the box is very soft plastic, so it is way too easy to install the pins slightly misaligned. Even if they are perfectly straight, the holes in the handle are just small enough for the tip of the provided screws to barely poke though, so the pins still don't always click into place nicely. I found that drilling the holes(in the metal handle) slightly bigger, until the do click nicely, was the best way to fix this. I don't think this is entirely on the manufacturer of these pins, but do think this should have been troubleshot before they started selling. TLDR: I do recommend these for people needing to remove the handle often, but you have to be very careful to install the pins straight, and be willing to make sure they lock into place nicely before subjecting your box too much abuse.
