I bought this vest because it’s perfect for putting my club’s colors on. No seams on the back to sew through. I ordered a 2X and the fit is perfect. It is lightweight for a vest compared to leather but the denim seems to be of good quality. It will be my summer cut so it should be a lot cooler than leather in the southern heat. This is light weight better for warmer days compared to my leather cut. They do run a little small for wearing a hoody under it for cooler rides but not terrible. It seems to be well made especially for the price. I haven’t ridden in rain to know if the dye will bleed out. The inside pockets can fit a full size 1911 though it’s not a way I’d recommend carrying. It weighs it down and is noticeable, a sub compact would be better. Just received this. It fits like a glove. I probably wear a a XXL and know from experience that these motorcycle vests are sized way too small so I ordered a 4XL and as I suspected, it fit perfectly. I was hoping it wouldn't be so heavy but because it has an inner lining, it is very heavy. I was hoping to get a lightweight vest that wouldn't cook me in warm weather. This might actually be all of that but until I get it put into use, I won't be able to make a determination. But it shouldn't be worst than some of the leather vests I have owned. Those are horrible in warm weather. But the material on this vest is first rate and I am going to change my overall star rating if it proves to be be less warm to wear after a while. ... show more

Follow the size chart, there are a lot of comments about how these run small and that is not the case for me . If you are overweight and have a big belly you may need to order a larger size , I am 5’10 195 lbs and a large fits perfect with room for a hoody under it. The material is thick and built well, I wear it in Florida at 80+ degrees and have no complaints. Wash this vest by itself or with other black clothes the first couple times as it bleeds heavily.
