Top Amazon Reviews

  • It's worth the investment.
Size: 4X-Large
A lot of the reviews here that express disappointment with the jacket's sizing are suspect. While it's not realistic to expect that everyone will be happy with a product when they recieve it (for a number off reasons), if this is your first time to buy a jacket like this, and you're on the fence, don't be. There are simple rules for making sure you get what you want. First of all, leather jacket sizing is *always* going to be slightly off. Leather is thick stuff. By the time you add the lining and shape the material's cut, you're easily looking at at least a two-size differential in the way it's going to fit. While there are more factors to consider (like what you'll be wearing underneath the jacket), do yourself a huge favor and get measured. Do it yourself, or get a friend to help. Most of these jackets have a sizing grid. If you use them, you won't be led astray. This makes the sizing estimation much easier, in my opinion. Next, take a break from the keyboard and venture out into the world. When was the last time you tried on a leather jacket? If the answer is "never," try to find a place that's close enough to where you live to go into a store and try a few on. This will be the easiest way to confirm the size that's going to be right for you. If you don't live close enough to a store that sells leather outerwear, you're kind of stuck. Start from two sizes up and go from there. If it's been a while since you tried one on, I'd highly reccomend doing this so you can update your sizing requirements accordingly. Next, come back to Amazon and buy this jacket. You're either here, reading this review because you want it, or you're thinking about getting it. Simply put, it's incredibly well made for the price you're going to pay. I'm fortunate enough to live close enough to a store that sells the exact same brand. It would have cost me about 30 dollars more to buy it outright from the store, and..well...let's just say that eventually Amazon Prime pays for itself. Mine came right on time, in pristine condition. The leather is sofft, but not too much so, which is where I like it, and there are no obvious marks or deformities throughout. The stitching looks to be very good, and it sports quality hardware and zippers. None of my snaps were out of alignment, and the buckle fits the holes AOK. The great thing about this jacket is that the sides have adjustable laces and a removable liner for when it's warm outside. My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is that my new jacket will require some breaking in, as all leather does. This is the third jacket I've bought in my life, and it's easily comparable to ones I've owned in the past that have lasted me for many years, but not through my expanding waistline. :) It's a definite keeper, and worth the investment. ... show more

  • Epic class fitted armor, and priced right
Size: Medium
The first one I bought in 5xl almost 5 years ago when I weighed about 498lbs and i loved it then, effortlessly affording me the vanity of that true land whale feel and look, got compliments all the time. like "woah is that a hairless circus cow on two legs” or " oh no orcas learned to walk and are now beginning their land invasion". The one thing I do miss is people randomly grabbing the side tassels and attempting to walk me like a Macey's day parade Balloon, but as in anything else, all good things must come to an end, I eventually lost a whopping 309lbs, "yay for me, right? “.. well yes and no although the fat is gone, skin is a little more difficult to remove, since I was well over the return period and not totally comfortable with resorting to a do-it-yourself Buffalo Bill method, then fashioning the harvested "material" into a flesh-colored version of this jacket (waste not, want not), I reluctantly opted the next logical choice also just the sight or mere thought of blood makes me gag. Correct, I decided to focus on hourly rigorous and relentless self-body shaming, even recruiting family and friends to join on self-hazing and ridicule sessions, paid of course "since nothing worth doing is free". Eventually I became comfortable with my new 5'11 187lb hairless tattoo covered sugar glider squirrel look, and only after excruciating research careful strategic financial planning aided by studying and unlocking the secrets of many ponzie business quotes, feverishly grounding my spirit and mind with copious amounts of sweet fruit flavored malt libations, careful and mature considerations lasting several seconds, with a visceral war yelp to summon out the suppressed inner rage of a thousand pugs, I asked my mom in a thunderous indecipherable mumble for permission, as she slumbered. Accepting her peaceful comatose silence as approval, I pulled the trigger ended up buying a second, master crafted jacket in a medium as prescribed by the very accurate size chart., mostly out of fear that my new full body bingo wings could catch a sudden gust of wind like loose boat sails, and inadvertently cause me injury. Before I knew it, or maybe was coherent enough, finally responding to the never-ending doorbells and knocking that seemed to go on for a week, there it was just past someone who I assumed to be an undercover delivery person that protected my package from dreaded porch pirates was for some reason rambling or talking in code about doing things or rent I don’t really know, but seemed kinda serious. anyway not a moment too soon all my problems were solved. With this ingenious purchase i was able to develop a meticulous skin muumuu tucking protocol that could only be held fast by the top notch stitching and quality hides put together in this seemingly mythical in nature production of a jacket. With tears in my eyes I can say now that know the comfort that a boneless edema bloated hand would feel in well fitting glove, perfect and just right. I am almost certain that somewhere during its creation Elvin sorcery or Dwarven craft has to be involved, since they have done an amazing job at hiding the Tengwar script, or runes that would validate my theories I cannot identify conclusively the origin of its power. I applaud and thank them for not making this item overly priced, and would recommend it to anyone in the market for an all-season jacket. Yes, I said all season, the “collective” as i refer to the ones who designed and developed this artifact, doing so only because I cannot confirm its origin, made the life force retaining dragon scale liner effortlessly REMOVABLE in the blink of a severely cataract occluded amputated eye, or even an arthritic Neanderthal born with all thumbs. In my opinion, this could be very handy for instance, should you find yourself in a precarious Fonz garb requiring situation where one may need to teleport instantly from say, battling seemingly endless hoards reanimated yellow snow creatures through an artic tundra, into the hell fires of Mount Doom, to valiantly retrieve a negligently disposed of unmentioned precious item capable of IMPOSING world peace under one glorious, slender, flight capable ruler, from the chard remains of its rightful but no longer “in need of” owner. Now I’m not saying it would be easy, but this armor “at least for me” has definitely quelled any fear of bedwetting accidents intentional or otherwise. I feel it deep in my giblets that in conjunction with some better route planning, and reliable transportation, not limited to magical, mammalian, avian, reptilian, or cryptid, but never moms car, it would be totally plausible in a solo quest, but only with this in your arsenal. • My Favorite Jacket
Size: Medium
I'm a punk from the 70's and 80's and have always wanted a biker jacket like this. Back then, I couldn't afford it. Now at age 60, I felt like it was maybe too late. Regardless, I decided to order one and hope that I didn't look too ridiculous in it. I'm SO glad I bought it! It quickly became my favorite jacket and I had too many jackets before I bought it. It's heavy, comfortable, and warm. I cannot believe I got such a high-quality jacket for this price! The hardware, the leather, the stitching, the fact that it has a removable FULL lining - all of it is top quality. I'm not a handgun carrier, but the concealed carry pockets are amazingly roomy and great for today's larger phones. I get compliments on this jacket almost every time I wear it. A political canvasser commented on it as I was leaving my house and they were working our street. Multiple grocery store cashiers and other store employees have commented on it. It makes me feel cool and at 60, that's a pretty good feeling! This jacket is worth every penny and so much better quality than some of my more expensive jackets. It doesn't matter if you're a biker or just looking to up your style. If you're thinking about this for yourself or as a gift, don't hesitate. Buy it! Whoever gets it will be happy you did!! ... show more

  • Excellent material quality, medium stitching quality. Looks great and should last a long time! Excellent material quality, medium stitching quality. Looks great and should last a long time!
Size: Large
Absolute Aura farming jacket. Love it. I also love that the liner is removable because I live in a hot climate. If I have one complaint it is that the stitching isn't the most durable thing on earth, however, the leather and other materials are very durable. Definitely real cowhide, not crappy PU leather. Very soft, but you can make it even better with some leather conditioner like Bick 4 and make it water/mist resistant with Obenauf's heavy duty LP. Remember to wipe it down every once in a while or spritz it with vinegar on the inside to prevent bacteria from growing. Pockets are very large, and very functional. Another thing I really like on this jacket are the high quality metal zippers. on a lot of clothes I have purchased recently, companies have started skimping out and making plastic flimsy low quality zippers and pulls. The metal zippers will be much more durable. I conceal carry and have a pretty big EDC kit, this works great for all that stuff as well. Plus lets' be honest, it just looks absolutely radical. ... show more

  • Not a Schott but will do for the price
Size: Medium
I'm 5'4 186 lbs 34 waist 41 S blazer arm length 33'. First got a large. It was big on me, it sat past my waist. Zipped up jacket and there was too much room around my waist. Rule of thumb when buying leather jackets - it should sit just right at your waistline, it should be snug and when moving your arms your jacket shouldnt shrug with it, ultimately it should fit like a glove and bend and mold with you. This said, I got a medium. It fit perfect, has higher armholes, feels soft, grainy and oily to the touch, not plasticy. Big YKK zippers, heavy and thick, perfect for motorcycle riding. I can wear a t shirt underneath and slim sweater comfortably. However lining is not as good, felt dry and doesnt seem to breath well when riding. Be careful when zipping out liner as it has the possibility of shredding along in seam with the zipper and also the buttons that snap to the jacket. Mine ripped off. Hence the 4 stars. Love the details, its all in the details. Granted its not a Schott Perfecto but it will do for the price and quality. Happy shopping. ... show more

  • A Really Nice Jacket at an Extremely Reasonable Price Point A Really Nice Jacket at an Extremely Reasonable Price Point
Size: Large
I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about what I would receive when I ordered this jacket. I've been a collector of premium leather bound books for many years and know good quality leather when I see it, whether it be cowhide, calfskin, goatskin, lambskin, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when the jacket arrived. The leather on this jacket seems really nice. Lots of grain and character. Shiny but not overly so. Fairly thick leather likely sufficient for those of us who ride motorcycles. As other reviewers have pointed out, the construction of the jacket is spot on as well. The zippers are a good size and have a feeling that they are built to last. The stitching is clean with no lose threads and the jacket feels solid, as though it will not be falling apart anytime soon. All in all a well constructed jacket that I would highly recommend. I honestly think they could get $200+ for it if they wanted to. I'm 6' 1" and just below 200 lbs and the large fits perfectly (for my tastes) with the liner removed and a t shirt underneath. I do not like baggy clothes and prefer that my stuff fit tight. I'm trying to drop another 10 lbs or so by winter, so I think it will fit great with the liner when the cold weather hits. I did not care for the leather string on the sides so I removed it. As for motorcycle use, I went for a 30 minute ride at freeway speeds this morning and felt comfortable/warm (it was about 55 - 60 degrees) even with wind chill (and the liner out). I ride a sport bike, and the back of the jacket seemed to touch the belt area when I was riding, so no exposed skin for me. I treated the jacket with Chamberlains leather milk #3 which is a waterproofing leather conditioner. It took about 12 hours for the waterproofer to soak into the leather (after I massaged it and scrubbed it in several times with hands). This stuff works great and I would recommend you put some on your leather goods. All in all a really nice jacket at an extremely reasonable price point. I would not hesitate to purchase. Safe riding friends! Update December 2019: Still a great jacket. As other reviewers have mentioned, this jacket isn't really sufficient protection for motorcycle use. I want to make this point clear in case you are a rider and hope to use this jacket for riding. I went down at freeway speeds in my Dainese Razon leather motorcycle jacket with CE armor. That jacket helped reduce road rash to my back/sides and mitigate damage to shoulders and elbows with the armor. This Milwaukee jacket on Amazon does not have the same leather thickness or CE armor/rating as that Dainese jacket, and I would not recommend using it for riding motorcycles. I say that having narrowly escaped death riding with proper motorcycle CE gear. But it does still look bad ass and the quality has held up with time and use. ... show more

  • Great value, highly recommend. Great value, highly recommend.
Size: XX-Large
Heres what I think of this jacket.... Its awesome, reminds me of the one I has in the late 80's. Definitely a classic jacket, good quality at a superb price... cant beat it for 100 bucks. So heres what you should know.... I like my jackets a little loose and definitely not tight fitting. I usually wear an xl for that purpose... these jackets run a little small, probably one size smaller than what I'm used to wearing or what I would normally wear... I originally ordered an xl because thats what I would order in most jackets. When I got the first jacket, an xl ,I was so excited because it looked so good and was definitely of good quality. I tried it on and it was a bit snug on me. It fit, but it was too tight for my normal comfort zone, I didnt want to send it back but I did because I wanted to try the next size up... Three days later, I received my XXL jacket.. I was very skeptical because I have never worn a xxl jacket before.... I cant believe how good it looks, feels and smells... Im built a bit husky, like a spark plug..lol. I am 5'07" weighing in at appx 210-215 with my weight fluctuating in between. Perfect fit for me, even with the liner in... I am soooooo happy with it... Just for my own purposes, I removed the liner because I like to wear sweatshirts all the time .... I can still leave the liner in with a sweatshirt but then I would start to fall into the border of my uncomfort zone... Forget what all these nay sayers speak of. The jacket is great quality, should last me for years.... If you're on the edge of buying it, just pull the trigger and get it,... You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Stylish, functions more than enough for said style.
Size: Medium
Really nice. It fit well. I am slim, so I had to use the side lacing to tighten it a bit, but once I did that, it looked good. It is some nice leather too. You can stay warm even without the insolating layer inside. I wear it unzipped. If you plan on wearing it unzipped as well, just be aware that the belt does make a bit of noise. It's a leather jacket, though, so you expect it to make a little squeaking noise regardless. The buttons are functional. I know some jackets like these have fake buttons they have permenantly stitched, but these buttons are real. Like I said earlier, I am slim, so I don't completely fill out the jacket. If you are also slim and feeling a little brave, you can try going a size smaller than you usually would. I will say, length is perfect, so if you're taller, you should avoid going a smaller size. If you are a regular guy, you will fill this jacket perfectly, so don't even worry about it. It smells pleasant even right out of the packaging. It doesn't have that punch-you-in-the-face-new-leather smell. The inside pockets are good. Lot of space. The outside pockets would probably only fit a small pack of cigs and a lighter. If you're buying it for style, it is perfect. If you're buying it for biking, be aware there is no internal padding or extra protection. It is better than nothing, but it really is just a leather jacket and nothing else. As a greaser, this is 10/10 for me. ... show more
