The blade worked perfectly to remove peel and stick vinyl tiles from a concrete floor over 300Sq feet. You need to let the blade and Sawsall do the work and keep it at an angle that doesn't stress the thinnest part of the blade - which is at the connection point to the saw. I haven't tried it on any other surfaces so can't comment on that.. ... show more

Had big area to remove the glued down carpeting from to make way for new flooring. They do break so buy more than one or you come to a halt.

    • gret scraping asphalt off the inside of tailgate
let me tell the best to thing I bought. I do a lot of asphalt and the inside of my gate the asphalt sticks to it and it does A GREAT JOB

    • Broke it on the first use - but I was really pushing it's limits
I needed to take up 60 year old linoleum from a small bathroom and decided to give this a try since I have a new Ryobi cordless 18V sawzall. The blade worked great but since it took a lot of force the narrow part of the shaft kept bending. As I was taking up the last bit of linoleum the shaft snapped off and left a piece in the sawzall about an inch long. I'm still giving it 3 stars since it finished the job, but I was hoping it would last for more than one job. If you get this don't put a lot of down force on it or it will definitely snap ... show more

I used this to scrape construction adhesive off a sub floor. It performed very well and did not break. I suspect holding the sawsall at a proper angle and not putting too much pressure on the blade is key.

Awesome I demolished my entire bathroom with this it made it so easy! Popped tiles right off went right through plaster like a jackhammer! I had shower stall w/ plaster and wire mesh it disintegrated the plaster and cut the mesh great!
