As a mechanic, tools that save time and fit into tight spaces quickly become favorites, and the Milwaukee M12 Fuel ¼" ratchet has definitely earned a permanent spot in my toolbox. The first thing you notice is how compact it is. The head is small enough to get into spots where a regular ratchet or impact just won’t fit, which is a lifesaver when working around engine bays and cramped components. Even though it’s small, it still packs plenty of power. It delivers up to around 45 ft-lbs of torque and spins fast, so once you break a bolt loose it zips it out in seconds. Another big plus is how comfortable it is to use. The grip feels solid in your hand and the tool is light enough that you can use it all day without your wrist getting worn out. The built-in LED light is also a nice touch when you’re working under a dash or deep in an engine bay where lighting is terrible. What I really like is how much it speeds up repetitive work. If you’re pulling brackets, interior panels, or anything with a bunch of small fasteners, this thing saves a ton of time compared to hand-ratcheting everything. Overall, the Milwaukee M12 Fuel ¼" ratchet is one of those tools you don’t realize you needed until you have it. It’s compact, powerful for its size, and makes everyday shop work a lot faster. Tool is definitely 5 star. Company ethics and business practice is 1 star. Company lowered price by roughly $40 the next day after my purchase. I asked if they would price match the lower price so I wouldn’t have to order a new one at the lower price and wait for the one I ordered to arrive and send it back.
