I need a tape measure clipped to my hip all day at work and am forever needing to spec things, scout locations and take an array of measurements at all times. It’s definitely bulkier than a 25’r per se, but you get used to it quick. So if you’re in need of high capacity measuring capabilities on the fly, this is the one to have. It’s typical of Milwaukee with regard to its quality: well built and long lasting. People who aren’t used to such a large tape measure ask me why do I carry around a 40’ tape measure and I jokingly answer, “Cause they don’t make a 50!” Even if you don’t need it at all time like I do, I still recommend this tool because it’s perfect for when you need it! ... show more

    • Well Built and Sturdy
The numbers are large and visible, "no messing up measurements now!" Also, the blade is extremely stronger than the 25ft ones. The clip for the belt grips well when getting swung around. One of my best buys yet.

    • Feels like a sturdy tape
It felt like a sturdy tape until I used it and it bent the first time at 80 inches. The blade feels very thin and not as thick as my fat max. I thought of giving this a try but think I will go back to Fat max. I received it fast and was happy about that just very disappointed in the quality.

    • You get what you pay for.
I always trust milwaukee for ALMOST all of my tools. This is a great tape and the only real draw back is it weighs 20lbs and you're going to need suspenders to keep the pants up. Otherwise this thing is worth every penny.

    • Very brittle -snapped first time using
First time using it I was measuring a hallway and wrapped it over the stair nose snd it just snapped- waste of money,I would not recommend.
