  • Great!
The handling is extremely intuitive; the trigger response and RPM ramp-up are highly predictable and excellent. True to the Milwaukee brand, this is a reliable tool that is well-balanced in every respect. I really like the design of the Gen4 LED light.

  • Wonderful tool
This tool has been nearly perfect for me. I've been very happy with all of the Milwaukee products that I've purchased so far.

  • Professional, both batteries worked, great buy
This was a perfect addition to my tools. I knew I wanted Milwaukee because that is what the professionals use and for good reason and the m18 system is highly customizable so I like the fact it comes with two. This is the perfect impact for husbands, sons, tradesman, or just for having at home. Well worth the buy at a discounted price. If you were just to buy 2 batteries and a charger it would be close to 200$ so this is a steal ... show more

  • love it
I am building a new deck. The old one was built with the wrong screws mixed with the right ones. The fact that I can remove those difficult ones is a tremendous hand and elbow saver. To give it a test run, I removed and demolished very carefully (to re-use the wood) the ground-contact rated pressure-treated 2x4 upper and lower rails, and the 2x2 slats of the same type. I did not even use 1/4 of the battery, and it hammered quite a bit on several screws. The wrist saver function is awesome, I think. I wish it were adjustable so that it would activate later, as sometimes it stopped when I wanted to keep going. The thermal protection is great too. Although aggravating when it lets me know its time to cool down (refuses to apply high torque at that point)....but that feeling is quickly mitigated by the knowledge that this tool and its battery will last a very long time. ... show more

  • Glad I waited.
I have a whole shop full of air tools so I've dragged my feet for *years* buying cordless tools, but sometimes dragging an air hose around isn't an option. I finally hit that point and after a lot of anxiety pulled the trigger on these Milwaukee tools. My point of comparison is a friend's Makita equivalents, and our mutual opinion is that the Milwaukee stuff is as good if not better. "Throttle" control is flawless - it's very easy to control the speed of the tool. It's incredibly light for the power it offers. I've yet to run out of battery even with pretty intense use. The LED lights are nicely spaced and plenty bright. I can (unfortunately) say it will survive a fall of 10' without damage. :/ My only real complaint is that the charger is huge... It's probably convenient for many that it will also charge older Milwaukee batteries, but if you're like me and this is your only tool platform, the charge is just annoyingly bulky. I'm very satisfied with the M18 Fuel system, and will no doubt be expanding my collection over time. ... show more

  • Product great, Amazon Customer Service no so great!
The product itself is fantastic. Great price and great value then we could find anywhere else. Amazon customer service was lacking to say the least. What we didn't know when we placed this order was we would need a one time pass code to give to the delivery driver. The shipping date was changed several times so we missed the driver the first day. The second attempted was delayed due to weather. The third attempt was unsuccessful as well because the timeframe did not suit our work schedules. Amazon told me that I could change the shipping address on the third attempt, which was a lie!!! Amazon canceled our order after the third attempt and I was told they didn't even know where the item was. Item was reordered by my parents and shipped to their address. No one time pass code was given to them and was left on their porch on delivery day. AMAZON, what is the problem with this. I was given the run around and they got nothing and no notice for the item. This makes no sense whatsoever!!! Very disappointed with your customer service for this situation. ... show more

  • Takes a lot of driving resistance for the impact pulses to start
After buying this product and using it to drive a variety of screws with different sizes and lengths in different types of wood, I actually prefer my older smaller impact driver. The reason is a bit counter intuitive, but this Milwaukee heavy duty driver has so much torque that it takes a lot of driving resistance to trigger the impact 'pulses' which make a dramatic difference in the amount of torque is reflected back to the handle (and operator's hand). The end result is the impact driver can be tough to hold onto and kept engaged with the screw head while driving larger or longer screws. By contrast my older, 12 vdc, small format impact driver requires very little driving resistance to trigger the impact 'pulses' which instantly makes screws easily sink into the material you are screwing them into with very little torque reflected back to the handle. This scenario only holds true for screws up to a certain size-length, and then beyond that my older smaller impact driver stalls whereas the Milwaukee driver definitely wouldn't stall. ... show more
