    • A true bolt breaker
My older Milwaukee impact was starting to fail so I did a bit of research and picked this up. The ratings were not wrong, this thing is excellent. The first screw I put in snapped off after being buried half an inch into a couple of 2x6's, before I had time to react. A 3 and 1/2 inch coarse thread sheet rock screw specifically. There are 4 torque/speed settings; 1, 2, 3, and self tapping. This could be a bit clearer. 1 is low, 3 is high, self tapping has some kind of in-built logic that attempts to assist with the drilling of a self tapping screw, works ok I guess. 1 is good for practically everything, up to and including removing some old head bolts from a 200cc 4 cycle snowblower engine. I haven't needed setting 3 yet, I don't look forward to that day, I could see this thing busting the head off a grade 2 1/2inch bolt without a lot of trouble. So, what I'm saying is, buy it, buy it now. This thing is awesome. You could possibly call me a Milwaukee fan boy but I can tell you, I am, up until the day they disappoint me. ... show more

    • 2853-20 is the model # of the driver itself. 2853-22 is the model # of this kit.
Another reviewer stated: "They put the 2853-20 model in the 2853-22 box. Sketchy idk I may have been bamboozled led astray. It works. But not what they advertised." (2 stars) Had they simply googled 2853-20, they could have easily learned that 2853-20 is the model # of the driver itself, while 2853-22 is the model # of this kit. When I googled 2853-20, the first result was the product page for the M18 FUEL 1/4" Hex Impact Driver on Milwaukee's official site, and on that page are 3 tabs to choose from. One tab reads "2853-20", and shows images and info for the driver only. The next reads "2853-22" and shows this kit. The third reads "2853-22CT" and shows this kit, but with 2 amp batteries. I'll add a review after I've spent some time with the tool, but I wanted to go ahead and clear that up. Also, for anyone curious, I received the gen 3.5, with two ball bearings in the collet. ... show more

    • Great tool
This is my first ever Milwaukee product, I’ve always used Dewalt because that’s what my father who worked construction would always use. I had a ton of Dewalt products that are aging so I figured I’d give this a shot, I’m a mechanic and my goodness it’s a handy thing to have. It’ll even take off lug nuts if I want to, tho I don’t use it much for that as its not designed for it so I don’t want to overwork it. I mainly use it for my DIY projects in woodworking and it handles everything I throw at it. It’s kinda pricey albeit but it’s quality matches if not even passes it’s price point. Can’t wait to get more Milwaukee tools now that I have a bunch of spare batteries. ... show more

From reading reviews on other sellers pages I've come across a lot of reviews(not on this sellers page which is why i went with him) that say other sellers on amazon have sold 2020 impacts which have some collet issues. Well i just did a serial # check. The 6th and 7th digit of the serial number indicates year of manufacture. The impact i recieved from this seller was 21 as in 2021. Super happy with purchase everything looked exactly like pictures got everything listed including plastic storage box batteries charged quickly charger works. Even was delivered 2 days early. id recomend this impact and seller to anyone i know based on my experience you wont regret it. I cant comment on if it holds up to the test of time. Ill try to update in the future on that. This seller is legit though ... show more

    • Very powerful authentic Milwaukee tool
My wife bought this for me for Christmas and it is awesome. Yes it is a true Milwaukee tool not a knock off. I originally wanted it to help assist changing tires and putting on and screwing off lug nuts faster. I did not think the tool would be powerful enough to break lug nuts loose, but it is and then some. Have used it for almost an hour straight and still has 4 bars. I am now a believer of just how good Milwaukee tools are. ... show more

I own quite a few Milwaukee products, so I bought this set for my son. He loves the tool and said he will get a lot of use out of it. I can’t say enough good things about the Milwaukee line of products. It is very rare to find anything that isn’t at the highest quality with them.

    • Plenty of power!
I came from a Dewalt 1/4" impact. The Dewalt lasted well, but the batteries.. Not so much! My new Milwaukee has more power and the battery seems to last forever! It does have a little kick, unlike my Dewalt, when you pull the trigger. I think I'm used to my Dewalt and having to go full speed to get it done. With the Milwaukee, I can go slower without bogging down and power to spare. ... show more
