Great polisher. The brushless motor has plenty of power, and the variable speed dial makes it easy to dial in for compounding or finishing. Balance and ergonomics are good, so it's comfortable during longer sessions, and battery life on my M18 pack was solid. Being cordless is a huge upgrade over dragging a cord across the paint. Note that it's sold bare tool, so you'll need a battery and charger, plus your own pads and compounds.

The adjustable speed setting makes it suitable for different surfaces and skill levels. Its ergonomic shape helps reduce fatigue during use, which is a big plus. The brushless motor works smoothly and lasts longer, providing steady, reliable results. It’s a bit on the heavier side, but overall, it’s a handy device for achieving a polished look. Once I used it, I found it hard to go back to anything else.

Yep, I grabbed this Milwaukee polisher after seeing a detailing video during nap time and thinking my minivan’s paint needed serious help. The power is great. It cuts through oxidation on our older Honda fast, and I like that I just click the trigger for a gentle start then dial it up for tougher spots. My wrists handle it fine, even after doing the whole hood. What bugs me is the weight once I’m working on vertical panels. After one side of the van my arms feel like noodles. Also, it didn’t come with a battery, so I had to borrow my husband’s M18, which was annoying bc I thought it was included. If u already have other Milwaukee tools, this makes more sense.

This buffer is light and easy to handle and has the power you would expect from a corded buffer. I bought 3 batteries that are 5 amp hours each and by the time I go through all the batteries I am about ready to call it a day. I use this buffer almost exclusively on my boat to restore oxidized gelcoat. I use a wool cutting pad with presta strata ultra cutting compound and it brings the shine back to 19 year old neglected gel coat easily. The buffer is small enough to get into places where large buffers can't reach and again does not lack power. The variable speed settings seem to be true and the speed control does not deviate. That was a problem I had with a cheap corded buffer bought from a big name tool store. After using this for 4 months I am extremely pleased. The only thing I don't like about it is the initial cost. That being said, it is worth every penny. In fact it was worth it to me to buy the Milwaukee charger and batteries. This is the only Milwaukee tool I own and when my yellow tools wear out I think I will replace them with Milwaukee.
