I read and watched plenty of reviews on this caulk gun prior to my purchase. They were all over the place. In fact, one YouTuber said it was an overpriced and under performing tool. Well, I beg to differ. MILWAUKEE makes the best tools. Rugged…dependable…convenient. I also ordered the large 29 oz tube accessory. I have put 2 large tubes of polyurethane caulk through it without any problem. Filling sidewalk and driveway cracks is no longer the chore it used to be. PRO: plenty of power, nicely weighted and balanced, good range of caulk speed easy to change out the caulk accessory. CON: yes, it is expensive but for what you get it is worth the money. I currently own 18 Milwaukee tools and continue to dream of the other 280. It does take a little practice to know how much to trim the caulk tube tip, and adjust the speed correctly But a few times on a piece of scrap wood should be all you need. Excellent and dependable electric caulking gun. I use a lot of different thick viscosity sealants. You can’t use a regular caulking gun to squeeze them out because they just won’t move. I tried some Chinese knock off and they worked for a little while but broke. I’ve been using Milwaukee caulking guns for 30 years and I knew better than to try something cheap. Works great, pretty interchangeblr with aftermarket accessories. but is a bit heavy and hard to one hand.. the 12 volt version is more versatile but if ur pushing automotive urethane or other really thick glue the 18 volt will reduce wear n tear on the gun. 18 volt is not needed for any of the glue I've used, and the 18volt is slower to back off (the anti drip) when u let go of the trigger. I found the 12 volt easier to use and battery life to be very similar. However my main pro here is the reduction in wear and tear. 12 volt will do 95% of the jobs tho. I had to seal all my rim joist in the basement with Dynaflex 230. This unit can't reach lower areas because it's too long and hits the subfloor. However, I used a 30" long Tygon Tubing and hose clamped the tube on and clipped the gun onto my work tool belt and dispensed it all with ease. It's best to have the entire work area precleaned, ready to apply. I don't like how heavy this is, but it's a dream I'm contrast to wrist damage from regular caulk guns. It's best to start on a low speed setting till you get the hang of it. Furthermore, you won't waist product. Love Milwaukee tools, my go to for 5 decades. Some are very heavy like the Skillsaw Milwaukee version. This M18 is the bigger battery. I used a thin battery to keep the weight down. It's thrifty with power. ... show more

I make moss walls for a living and ordered this to use as my "glue gun." It works great! The battery is ordered needs to be longer at the base to keep the gun stable so it won't tip over. Keep that in mind. It tips over with the smaller batteries. Otherwise its a great product and I now have M18 batteries so sky's the limit on my next tool purchase. 😁 ... show more

It's a Milwaukee so if you're running your thing for Glass or anything thick or thin, this will do it. Don't buy Makita! Don't think about it just buy this one. It's all you'll need.
