I am US Size 10/12 and the XL fit well with room to breathe. I bought the solid black version where the sleeves are lined with black (not see-through). I'm 5'5" and the black lining comes 1 inch above my knees and the embroidered overlay falls below my knees. There is no tag attached to the dress except for the size xl tag that is sewn in. The hem is slightly uneven, but the dress as a whole is so beautiful it simply doesn't matter. I'll be wearing it for a family funeral, and then can style it differently for other events as well.
