Literally the comfiest thing ever. Might even be more comfy than my bed. I got this mattress to replace our old futon. The previous one had the indents and buttons, it was awful. That being said I was hesitant on buying a new one, I didn’t know if it was normal for ALL futons to be uncomfortable😂. However we have a toddler who likes to randomly spend the night with us and a 100+ lb dog who also likes to have his own space. I decided to give this mattress a try. Let me tell you, it is SO COMFORTABLE. It is so soft and plush, it feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Surprisingly Great Quality
I bought a futon frame off FB marketplace. I wanted a new mattress, but I also didn't want to break the bank. This was surprisingly a VERY comfortable mattress. I literally sleep on it for naps over my actual bedroom mattress. It's comfortable, easily foldable, and it looks quite nice. I expected to have SOME issues with it, but so far it's been a gem. It fits the mattress frame perfectly and provides more than adequate support. I'm a fairly tall individual of medium build, so I would feel if this was inadequate. I personally like the fact that it's a bit soft (memory foam), but I don't feel like I'm sinking in and unsupported. In short, this is a very nice foldable futon mattress that I felt was at a more than fair price. Certainly worth getting if you are looking for an affordable futon mattress option. ... show more

Almost perfect!
I bought this to replace the "boulder" that came with my wooden futon. The one I had was super thick and very hard. Guests and I would complain about it's discomfort and it would literally make me hurt after sitting or laying on it. So I went on a hunt for a mattress that was firm, yet comfy. One that would hold my weight 220lb and not sink. So I stumbled across this one. I got it home quicker than scheduled, literally the next day! Unboxed it and layed it out to deflate. No harsh smells from being vacuum sucked and it came to full form fairly quick! I chose to sit and lay on this before I put my protector over it. And it was super comfy! I didn't feel the wooden frame when laying down or sitting. It doesnt move around a lot being on the lighter side, which is a plus! When laying with my baby, if I have to get up, it doesn't move her around and she barely notices me leaving (outside of my warmth). This isn't too large to where it hangs off and looks messy, it looks well and functions great! The only downside, if I was to complain... Would be to wish it was a tad thicker! Though comfy and keeps me from touching, I just wish it would be about 2in more to give that extra comfort and extra height. But over all... I love it! Would i buy this again? It really depends on how long this lasts. I don't want to have to buy a new mattress every year! But if I were to get another futon, most definitely! Great Memory Foam Mattress
My old futon recycled cloth material futon mattress was long over due for an upgrade. I took a shot on this full size mattress, being the least expensive at the time. It pleasantly arrived a day early. Based on the size of the box, I thought for sure that I received the wrong size. I was surprised at how well they compressed and folded the mattress into the smaller box. The box also included a brief instructions page and a credit card style letter opener for cutting off the plastic wrap. This was actually more helpful than I was expecting. The instructions say to allow 48 hours after opening for the foam to fully expand and to ignore any off-gassing smells. After opening mine up, it was full sized in about 30 minutes - even on an unseasonably cold day. I didn't notice any smells (unlike other memory foam I have purchased before). The cover is a nice material and doesn't need any other cover. It zips on/off easily and can be washed. The mattress itself is a good fit on my full-size frame. The 6 inch depth is probably about as small as I would ever want to go, but it is very comfortable. If I really press on an area, I can still feel a bar underneath, but for regular sitting or lying I do not feel the frame. The comfort holds up well even after prolonged sitting or a napping. It is a significant upgrade in comfort over the previous mattress. The foam is also much lighter and easier to move . Overall, I am extremely satisfied. For being the least expensive option, the mattress arrived quickly, was well packed, opened easily, and is more comfortable than I was expecting. ... show more

I love this mattress. I love the look, and it is so so comfortable. The zipper is easy to remove and put back on, and after washing it, it didn’t shrink, which was a huge fear of mine. When I took off the cover, I was curious what it’s like on the inside so I ripped a bit of the non removable cover (easy to sew back on though) and saw it’s 2 thick foam pads and then a memory foam pad that’s probably 1.5 inches that holds the 2 together. The reason why I love this is because when you fold the fouton mattress, it doesn’t misshape or deform the mattress, since it’s already slit by the 2 parts. It also doesn’t cause any sagging from the top to bottom. I sit on this fouton every day, and have slept in it several times as well and have no noticed any signs of wear or dents for 2 months now. My fouton is right next to a window so I was concerned about the yellowing as mentioned in other reviews, but if it has yellowed, it’s been even so I haven’t noticed! But I really don’t think there has been any yellowing. Side note, I had my window open once and it rained really bad, so a quarter of my fouton got SOAKED. I took off the cover and moved the mattress to allow drying and airflow and put a fan on it for 24 hours and there was no impact on the mattress. I was worried the wet would ruin the foam but it’s as good as new! ... show more

Comfy, Supportive, Overall Good Option as a mattress

I was a little nervous ordering a futon mattress online you never really know what you’re going to get but this one totally exceeded my expectations. It’s definitely comfier than I imagined! Once it fully expanded (which took a bit of time), it turned out to be really soft and supportive, making it a great choice for both sitting and sleeping.
