I bought a futon frame off FB marketplace. I wanted a new mattress, but I also didn't want to break the bank. This was surprisingly a VERY comfortable mattress. I literally sleep on it for naps over my actual bedroom mattress. It's comfortable, easily foldable, and it looks quite nice. I expected to have SOME issues with it, but so far it's been a gem. It fits the mattress frame perfectly and provides more than adequate support. I'm a fairly tall individual of medium build, so I would feel if this was inadequate. I personally like the fact that it's a bit soft (memory foam), but I don't feel like I'm sinking in and unsupported. In short, this is a very nice foldable futon mattress that I felt was at a more than fair price. Certainly worth getting if you are looking for an affordable futon mattress option.

Literally the comfiest thing ever. Might even be more comfy than my bed. I got this mattress to replace our old futon. The previous one had the indents and buttons, it was awful. That being said I was hesitant on buying a new one, I didn’t know if it was normal for ALL futons to be uncomfortable😂. However we have a toddler who likes to randomly spend the night with us and a 100+ lb dog who also likes to have his own space. I decided to give this mattress a try. Let me tell you, it is SO COMFORTABLE. It is so soft and plush, it feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. I also love that it has a removable washable cover, especially having a toddler and pets, that’s a must have. It was super easy to get on the frame and folds easy and expands fully. HIGHLY recommend.

I was a little nervous ordering a futon mattress online you never really know what you’re going to get but this one totally exceeded my expectations. It’s definitely comfier than I imagined! Once it fully expanded (which took a bit of time), it turned out to be really soft and supportive, making it a great choice for both sitting and sleeping. It’s been super comfortable to have in my space, and even my mom loves how my bed can easily turn into a couch. The quality feels great, and it’s held up nicely with daily use. For anyone looking for a futon mattress that’s cozy, versatile, and not ridiculously expensive, this was a great pick. Honestly, I had my doubts at first, but I’m so glad I went with this one. I bought this to replace the "boulder" that came with my wooden futon. The one I had was super thick and very hard. Guests and I would complain about it's discomfort and it would literally make me hurt after sitting or laying on it. So I went on a hunt for a mattress that was firm, yet comfy. One that would hold my weight 220lb and not sink. So I stumbled across this one. I got it home quicker than scheduled, literally the next day! Unboxed it and layed it out to deflate. No harsh smells from being vacuum sucked and it came to full form fairly quick! I chose to sit and lay on this before I put my protector over it. And it was super comfy! I didn't feel the wooden frame when laying down or sitting. It doesnt move around a lot being on the lighter side, which is a plus! When laying with my baby, if I have to get up, it doesn't move her around and she barely notices me leaving (outside of my warmth). This isn't too large to where it hangs off and looks messy, it looks well and functions great! The only downside, if I was to complain... Would be to wish it was a tad thicker! Though comfy and keeps me from touching, I just wish it would be about 2in more to give that extra comfort and extra height. But over all... I love it! Would i buy this again? It really depends on how long this lasts. I don't want to have to buy a new mattress every year! But if I were to get another futon, most definitely! I used a mattress protector and my own cover for mine. To keep from damage, but it is totally worthy of being by itself

So far it's great. I've had a futon on my back porch for years with the original mattress on it (that I bought used). Not sure what's in it but it's not memory foam. It did it's job but this mattress is a nice upgrade. Haven't actually taken a nap on it (too hot out now) but sitting out there reading or listening to a book, it's very comfortable.

Wonderful mattress but it is two pieces so if your futon frame in the couch position isn't exactly in the middle it probably won't fit well. They had a great return policy though and it is comfortable otherwise.

I love this mattress. I love the look, and it is so so comfortable. The zipper is easy to remove and put back on, and after washing it, it didn’t shrink, which was a huge fear of mine. When I took off the cover, I was curious what it’s like on the inside so I ripped a bit of the non removable cover (easy to sew back on though) and saw it’s 2 thick foam pads and then a memory foam pad that’s probably 1.5 inches that holds the 2 together. The reason why I love this is because when you fold the fouton mattress, it doesn’t misshape or deform the mattress, since it’s already slit by the 2 parts. It also doesn’t cause any sagging from the top to bottom. I sit on this fouton every day, and have slept in it several times as well and have no noticed any signs of wear or dents for 2 months now. My fouton is right next to a window so I was concerned about the yellowing as mentioned in other reviews, but if it has yellowed, it’s been even so I haven’t noticed! But I really don’t think there has been any yellowing. Side note, I had my window open once and it rained really bad, so a quarter of my fouton got SOAKED. I took off the cover and moved the mattress to allow drying and airflow and put a fan on it for 24 hours and there was no impact on the mattress. I was worried the wet would ruin the foam but it’s as good as new!

What can I say? Lots of good reviews and I was expecting it to be great from that. It does fit perfectly in the frame, it goes up as it should and it does feel comfortable when sitting. However, laying down to sleep it's just not as soft and comfortable. It's more harder then I thought, for a memory foam mattress. This is from someone who has used a memory foam one for years now. I have a memory foam mattress that's thicker of course, but I can't fit that one and I needed more space. Sleeping in that soft bed may be one reason, but they are both memory foam. I'd like to think that isn't the full reason as they are almost the same thickness. So, that means it would have to be how different they are made. If I had to guess, I'd say this would be better for someone who like medium firmness or harder maybe? For sure not for those who like soft or such like myself. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's not softness like I would love either. I guess it might last a good while though due to the harderness, but I'd need more time to know exactly. Well the black does look nice and you can full take the top and bottoms part of the cover it has off for washing. Bottoms is white, unlike the black top it has. Just so your aware. Other than that, I'd say it's not the worst. Just not the best either and that's saying a lot I think.
