The stand went together easily, and the materials used appear to be quality. The stand is heavy at approximately 100 lbs. With 3 people, the stand went up easily. There is a wide floor, which I really like. However, the seat is only held on by approximately a one-inch wide strap, on both sides, and there is no rail or ledge that the seat sits on when the seat is folded down. If a rodent/squirrel chews the strapping, which is likely to happen, the seat will not be usable. Once the stand was in the tree, I noticed that there is only one point of contact with the tree at the top of the stand, and only secured by a small ratchet strap. The tree that the stand was placed on is very straight. The bottom of the stand at the platform does not contact the tree. There is approximately a 9 inch or so gap away from the tree at the foot platform. This makes the stand feel unstable with a lot of movement. There is a crossbar that extends from the ladder horizontally to the tree and secured with a small ratchet strap but it does not provide enough stability. The stand would feel safer if there was another point of contact with the tree at the bottom of the standing platform. I will not purchase this stand again. This was an expensive stand and I was not expecting, what I would consider design flaws, that exist with this stand at this price point. ... show more

    • Great stand for the prices. 2 seats for 2 people or extra space for you.
Was very nervous finally putting my money down on a treestand, you know how quality and stories differ and sometimes there's off welds. Well I'm very happy with this one, and didn't notice any manufacturing problems. It's definitely a job to put it together and move it, but what do you expect? The instructions were very clear, and what we were particularly impressed with was the quality of the harness, which has the (idk what it's called, my brother works with harnesses I haven't before, though I probably should've since I was working on rooftops for years lol) "breakaway" stitching built in to reduce some of the impact should you God forbid actually take a fall. He showed me how the harness worked and remarked on the good quality of it and relative ease of use. The seat is sufficiently large, the paint quality is good for protection from elements, just be careful not to scratch it. Very satisfied. ... show more
