I’ve been looking for an amaretto scented wax melt and haven’t had any luck finding anything that doesn’t have a floral or cherry scent to it - I just want almond. This wax bar isn’t amaretto but something about it is very much in the almond line. There is no floral, and no cherry, though. It’s very light, sweet, and has just a vague almond smell with the slightest hint of bakery thrown it. It’s lovely. I’ve had it in the warmer for about two days and I honestly didn’t think it would last this long but after getting home tonight I realized that the scent is still going strong - and it’s legitimately still scented, not the linger of an overpowering scent. This scent isn’t over powering which, as a migraine sufferer, I appreciate. I also appreciate the straight forward scent. It’s not this layered collage of complex scents - it’s just a light and comforting scent. Initially, I thought the price was too high. I was expecting the small clamshell packaging like you’d get at Wally World or Scentsy but these are larger. I think one of these cubes is 4 Scentsy cubes based on how much melted wax is in the warmer. So it’s a great value which I love. Also, it melted easily and evenly. I was able to smell it in a different room shortly after putting it in the warmer. I’ve had some scents which were different when melted than solid but this one is true to itself and it smells the same regardless of its solid state. And, finally, I definitely plan to reorder because aside from being a gorgeous scent, which is actually very calming, I’ve found that it is light enough to make everything smell good without being so overpowering that it gives the vibe of wanting to cover up a bad smell. So, the functionality of these melts is top notch. I would not hesitate to reorder and I’d never hesitate to recommend these. They are an exceptional product and picky consumer approved. ** Updated Review ** I’ve been using these melts daily for over a year now. I can tell you that I’ll never use anything else. I’ve got these on auto-ship, and keep a basket with about 10 packs on hand at all times. I’ve gifted them to people for birthdays and holidays (usually with a pretty warmer from Amazon) and it’s always appreciated. I started doing this because I have not had a single person in my home that hasn’t commented on how amazing my house smells since I started using them. I almost always have Oatmeal, Milk & Honey in the warmer. Here is my experience with the scents: Oatmeal, Milk & Honey: My signature scent. I will not be without extra on hand. Milk & Sugar: Very much in the same family as Oatmeal, Milk & Honey but slightly sweeter and stronger. There isn’t much hint of amaretto in this but it smells like comfort mixed with the state fair… think powdered sugar, not grease. This smells amazing mixed with Oatmeal, Milk & Honey or being melted simultaneously (I frequently use one in the upper level and the other in the lower level). Laundry Day: This smells very clean, very very clean. It’s like laundry detergent and fresh air. I don’t care for this as a regular rotation smell but I love it for days spent cleaning all day. It’s really motivating to clean when that pop of fresh hits the air and then when everything is all done and spotless - the house smells clean in a way that isn’t cleaning product. Brown Butter Pumpkin: I don’t love this one. The scent is beautiful and soothing and very even much like the other scents. However, it’s not Oatmeal, Milk & Honey (nor is it supposed to be) and it’s really hard to appreciate and love it when I love the other one so much. So, this one has mostly been used when I’ve had company on the weekend. It’s an amazing background scent when visiting and having coffee. Also, I’ve found I really love this during fall when it’s still warm enough to open a window. It really makes everything smell warm and inviting. Fall Harvest: this one really surprised me because it’s not my usual scent profile but it smells really nice and inviting. It’s not overpowering and it pairs really well Oatmeal, Milk & Honey. I really wanted to love these wax melts from the Creamery Collection. The scent is absolutely delicious—it’s warm, cozy, and just the right balance of sweet and creamy. It fills the room with a comforting aroma, reminiscent of a bakery. However, my main issue is that the smell doesn’t last very long. After melting for about an hour or so, the scent seems to fade pretty quickly, and I find myself having to replace it more often than I’d like.
