Description

The Falcon Mirror offers a new design utilizing a similar operation as the Milenco Aero Mirror, but with using only a single thumb screw on each clamp for quick and easy fitting. Can be fitted on the BMW X3 by mounting on the bottom of the mirror housing, taking care to ensure that the clamp is fully inserted and that the clamp pad is at least 3/4 of the way past the ridge, which is underneath the mirror, when tightening. All screws are stainless steel running in brass thread, these mirrors have perfect view adjustment, efficient and aero dynamic head, easy to grip thumb wheels and Milenco's unique air balanced design to stop vibration.

Not sure what speed they are rated for but when I was driving around 70 mph, one did fly off. I think it may have been that I didn't tighten it before the trip but because it is help around with just 2 screws, there is a chance this may happen. Luckily, I didn't have anyone behind me but I can see something flying off your car causing damage or even an accident to someone behind you. At first tried a another highly rated mirror, at a lessor cost than these, that has straps on it to stay on towing vehicle (TV) mirrors. They did not function well or stay on TV securely. I returned them. Bought these mirrors after reading positive comments about travel trailer mirrors from the Milenco Company on a travel trailer forum. Easy to install once you figure out the best set-up configuration on your TV mirrors. I have used them on two separate trips now for about 600 miles where I have put them on and removed them twice. I have a 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport. These mounted very well on my mirrors. They clamped tight with very little vibration at 65 mph. Mirrors adjust well, but you have to use a little mussel as they are stiff. this is as it should be otherwise they would go out of adjustment as you drove down the road. I drove around for a few weeks on back roads and major highways for 145 miles and had no problems with them coming loose or going out of adjustment. ... show more

These mirrors are easy to install and extend enough to view my 30โ€™ travel trailer. The only negative is that the size of the mirrors are too small . My tow vehicle is a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland .

They installed quick and easy. Last minute purchase after we borrowed a trailer to haul household from Michigan to Tennessee and realized we couldn't see around the trailer with the mirrors on our truck. Read reviews and saw that a few people said these mirrors were not stable enough for high speed or long trips. Gave them a try anyways and they worked out perfectly! They did not shift or fall off and literally saved the day! We checked them for tightness at each stop and they didn't even vibrate lose. Really like these mirrors, and I find the screw clamps much more solid than others Iโ€™ve tried. The one small drawback is that they seem to magnify a little bit more than the Ford Sideview mirrors they were attached to. It takes a little to get used to, but far from impossible

These clamp on solid and don't vibrate. Heard about strap on mirrors vibrating or worse yet falling off. No regrets with these mirrors.
