The super wide plate covers more hair, the temperature gets up to 460 which allows for one pass super slick straightening. My daughter has extremely thick, curly long and kinky curls and after drying, I was able to straighten her hair so smooth it looked like she had naturally pin straight hair. So when I say “do not hesitate from buying this straightener” I truly mean it. I have always had the thickest most curly hair that every straighter that I’ve tried has never truly gotten it straight enough that I actually like. THIS straightener HAS! I figured this straightener would be like all of the rest where it looks promising, but isn’t especially because the price is so reasonable… but boy was I wrong. It straightens so well that I do not even have to use the highest heat setting. AND it only takes seconds to get to the temperature you want.
