It is crucial to finish layering before the mascara sets, but don't mistake this for a product that applies too thin or wet. As someone with relatively short lashes, I was impressed by how much longer and fuller my lashes appeared. Unlike other mascaras that tend to flake off or leave dark smudges under my eyes by day's end, making me look either raccoon-eyed or excessively tired, this tubing mascara stayed put It even remained intact after accidentally sleeping in it, a testament to its durability. I like this product! I have longer lashes but I love a full look that can be more natural. It comes off easily as well. I don’t feel the need to “scrub”. I am giving 4 stars as I believe with a less “bendy” brush this mascara would be awesome! It gets a little clumpy and the brush doesn’t allow you to comb it out well. I have been trying to find a great mascara and I have found it! This is amazing, at the end of the day, I just wash my face and it comes RIGHT OFF! Normally, it doesn’t fully come off or I have to use an oil remover to get it off And it wears on my lashes for days. This brand comes right off with water!!! I have tried 2 other tubing mascara brands, and this one is the most affordable and also works the best. It seems to give a little more volume than the other 2 that I've tried. In general, I've found that tubing mascaras aren't the best when it comes to adding additional layers, but this one is different-- I have been able to build on to it a little bit (although 1 layer works so well, adding on more isn't really necessary). It stays on really well and doesn't smudge which is why I permanently switched to tubing mascara several years ago. This stuff goes on smoothly and stays put until I wash my face at the end of the night. It isn't too difficult to remove. I can usually work most of it off with soap and water. Once it's mostly off, I remove any residual mascara with a cotton swab and a bit of jojoba oil. ... show more

Currently 3 stars as I figure out what is user error vs. product issues…I am of the age where I’m phasing out my make-up routine, trying to find the most effective & efficient products for an “aging gracefully” look. Eyelashes have been a challenge as I try different products & practices. After trying extensions & realizing that they are not for me due to maintenance & price, I discovered tubing mascara. I’m immediately intrigued with this concept! I researched brands & ratings & pulled the trigger on this item. First mistake, I applied it as I have always applied mascara, this is a bit different. After my first botched application, I learned that you do not coat, coat, coat. Start at the lash base & apply 1 coat & give it a moment to dry before adding another coat. * COMB YOUR LASHES BEFORE ADDING PRODUCT* The results of my initial use was nice looking lashes until I blinked & “tuby”/smudgy black marks were all around my eyes. The bright side was that the marks were easier to clean than typical mascara. Dngtgebs my lashes (or shows the blond tips) and stays. No black flecks. Doesn’t curl, but I also didn’t use a curler. For the price, you. I have sensitive eyes and it didn’t irritate my skin or my eyes.

I ordered the milani tube mascara after reading reviews. I have oily eyelids and all mascaras smudge on my upper eyelids. Even very waterproof does it! Put in on yesterday morning and ran errands. Last night it looked exactly like when I applied it and did not smudge!!! Not at all! It lengthens and looks nice. Not clumpy. This one is a keeper! Came off with warm water.
