First of all, this review was hidden for days and I didn't know it. The message said it was hidden due to sensitivity. The ONLY thing in here that I said was "brown girls" and from the shade of the foundation - that is ACCURATE. Anyone sensitive about "discussing foundation shades" on a page where the actual product AND shade are clearly shown needs to live in a bubble with no internet. So I am resubmitting this UNEDITED, besides this paragraph I added. Original review begins now. === Wow this is so cool! I went to a website where you enter the brand and color that you're currently using and it matches the shade to other brands. Since my brown girls know it's so hard to find the perfect shade of brown plus the right undertone so you don't look deathly ashy or gray in different lighting. So I decided to just test it out. I was already happy with the 2 foundations I currently use: L'Oreal True Match Lumi (and also the regular non-Lumi one) in C6 Soft Sable. Since I wasn't sure how accurate this was, I wasn't going to buy an expensive product for testing. So I purchased Nutmeg 11A and I am so shocked at how great the coverage is and the color is pretty spot on. Actually, almost a little better for me this time of year because it's winter and I'm less golden now. Only thing that jacked me up 🤣 is that I placed a few dots across my face as I normally do with my True Match foundation, but didn't realize the coverage difference. It's definitely doing double-duty so I didn’t even need half the product I pumped out. And the best part for me is that if I need a little extra hide-ation (as Wendy Williams would say) under my eyes, I don't need to deal with another product at all. Just buid it up a little under the eyes, blend it on out and set if you care to. I didn't even bother with powder setting under the eyes last night for New Year's eve because I prefer a less matte look. Say, demi-matte. And this, without powder, gives me just the finish I like. You can see the True Match shades and Milani next to it. Not bad. Now I'm definitely going to feel more confident about experimenting with my base textures and finishes. It's the one thing we HAVE to get right. Otherwise, all the other stuff and great techniques mean nothing. This morning I had to run to the store and all I did was was my face, moisturize, pop on Nutmeg 11A, dabbed it out and sprayed a dewing setting lotion. Lip gloss, mascara , earrings and I was out the door looking super-natural. It's not that heavy mask-type coverage. If you have freckles that you want to show through, you can still blend this out nicely enough to have that perfect skin look and show you "perfections" like beauty marks and all. I love it! Milani and all other drugstore brands, forgive me for I have seriously sinned. I know L'Oreal, Revlon, etc. are all drugstore brands, but I thought Milani, NYX, etc. weren't even considerable. I'm not proud - I'll eat crow 🍽. I'm even buying a lighter and dark shade now to use for very subtle and pretty highlighting and contouring! The [face] beat goes on! ... show more

I accidentally order the wrong shade. So I had to repurchase another one but that was my mistake. I am a very oily girl so this works well on me. It looks a bit caky if you put too much on. For reference my MAC shade is NC35= Milani 06 Sand Beige

I used the color Tan - will probably try the darker colors when my summer skin rolls around. OH HOW MY DRY SKIN THANKS YOU MILANI. It's been a struggle to find a cheaper foundation that won't crease or cake up. I have hyperpigmentation AND vitiligo around my eyes. & now that I'm older, my eyes have decided to become "wiser" as I like to call it haha. I don't mind my lines but I DO mind when my makeup creases and makes it look so much worse than they actually are. This is the first makeup I've found that does a good job at hydrating my skin, as well as keeping my lines looking as they are. AND did I mention it covers up EVERYTHING?? & I'm coming from using the Mac Pro Longwear line which actually, ALWAYS CREASED in comparison to this. My method - use a beauty blender (I actually use the 5 dollar ones from Amazon right now) and apply this over the areas you want covered. After that go in very light with concealer. MAKE SURE you push the makeup into your skin, this helps for it to apply evenly but don't go hard, just apply an even layer. After concealor, I'll usually set with any light-colored baking item you have (I use the Bareminerals illuminating mineral veil) and let it sit for 10 minutes or more. After that I'll go in with this foundation very lightly and set again with my Bareminerals powder foundation. After that layer, I'll usually spray my Beauty blender with a setting spray and apply one last layer of foundation very lightly over my eyes. I know this sounds extreme but dude, read the description of my face - i need extreme lol. The key is gently pushing the makeup into your skin in LIGHT layers. I might have to go in and blend out any creases from this method after I've smiled a lot but it's worth it because after it's done - it's there all day which I really need and love. ... show more

This foundation is the most amazing full coverage drug store brand I have ever used! And by no means is my skin as flawless as it appears! I have super red blotchy skin and acne discoloration but let me tell you this covers it all!!!! Holds up well threw out the day and doesn't look cakey or melt in the heat. It's also a thicker highly pigmented cream so it's not runny or watery AT ALL! If your on the fence you MUST give this a shot! Also My skin is very sensitive and acne prone and this doesn't help nor hurt my current skin situation. ... show more

This is one of my favorite foundations. The color is just right for my light/tan skin. It's easy to apply with fingers, a blender, OR a brush! The coverage is just right. It doesn't mattify my oily skin, but also doesn't need a ton of powder to set it. You can thin it out or add more without it getting cakey. At the very lightest coverage, your skin looks smooth and even, and on the heavier end, it's obvious you're wearing makeup, but in a "your makeup looks lovely" kind of way.
