    • Good design, but frustrating assembly - missing parts / incomplete instructions
Overall good product. Purchased for the office / employee use. Frustrating assembly process w. missing parts & parts with burrs inside threads. Received this last week and started assembling over the weekend. Some thoughts: 1. The instructions are quite good - but only up until the end / close to step 10. Perhaps I have old inventory, but the instructions "stopped abruptly" mid-step 10 and did not indicate where key parts like the forearm pads are to be placed. The are also multiple parts (non-accessories) that are mentioned on the parts check list, but no instructions on their installation. 2. Many of the internally threaded steel bars have burrs / dirt / debris inside, which significantly slowed down installation as each hole needs to be cleaned out with a small brush or air gun. Otherwise, the screws would jam during assembly, preventing the parts from being put together. 3. Highly recommend getting a reversible ratchet. Doing this saved hours of time. 4. Be sure to do a parts check before starting. They sent me (2) x Smith Bar Catch LEFT, and I am missing a "Smith Bar Catch RIGHT". Other parts like M8 Bolts / Washers are also missing. sent a message to support. Will update this review when issue is resolved - hopefully with speed. ... show more

    • Very good product that is easy to put together.
I love the product! It allows me to do most of my workouts at home and is simply enough my kids can use it. My only fault is it is not very sturdy. I have it on 1/2 inch foam mats, so that may have something to do with it. Otherwise, I love it!

The media could not be loaded. Took long time to assemble as instructions are not user friendly. Cable support ball and steel cover pealing off attached video for reference. Please Try to find out a good one. I don’t know how others are giving the good ratings.

    • Great machine for the money
The Smith Machine is hands down the best purchase I've ever made! I had been looking at it for a while and did my research before making the purchase. Delivery was fast and the three boxes it came in are well packaged. It took me about 5 hours to build it myself, but following the instructions was a breeze and I didn't have any real problems. It's seriously sturdy and can handle a lot of weight. The pulley system is also top notch compared to other machines in its price range. Plus, the number of exercises you can do on it is virtually endless. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for home fitness equipment. ... show more
