These are the best collars for my dogs. I bought this for my boxer mix in a size large. She walks like a perfect lady on a lead as long as there’s nothing she thinks needs her assistance with, but the minute she has the call, she has a propensity to go from manners to backing out of any and all collars I ever tried on her. She was like a magician. Yes, I did put metal chokers on her for walks in public, until I found these collars. They work in the same way and when she did her twisty, back up, wiggly thing to split, she found that just didn’t work anymore. They fit loose and comfortable when not on lead and easy to slip on and off over her head when we’re home. This company also had great colors and this blue is perfect!

My dog hates every correction collar that we've tried to use to keep her from pulling. We chase her around the house just to put it on her. At first, it was no different with this collar. As soon as we took the collar off the hanger, she ran and hid. However, after using it just 2 times, she now sits and waits for us to put it on her. This martingale type collar works well. It's strong and durable. It gets tight if she pulls and she has now finally learned not to pull. Except, of course, if she sees a squirrel or rabbit. All bets are off then.

Our old dog has always had martingales, they’re great collars for dogs with big necks that slip easily out of regular collars. We’ve gone through quite a few over the years, this is a really good one. There’s no buckle, which has been popping up more on martingales, and completely defeats part of the purpose of these collars if you have a big dog that’s a strong puller. The webbing is excellent, soft out of the package, I’m not afraid it will irritate his neck. Stitching is substantial and should hold up well. True to size, he’s 85lbs and the large fits him well with plenty of material to let out if you have a larger dog. All clasps are heavy-duty metal, no plastic pieces that are prone to break. Nice price-point for the quality. I’m happy with this purchase.
