I bought this set 4 months ago. The design is very attractive -- simple and straightforward; not ornate. The pieces are sturdy. We have enjoyed using them and they look great on our table. Minor quibbles: The teaspoon's stem could be a tad longer. I'm usually holding the teaspoon at the end. There are 24 salad forks, which does fill up your flatware holder. I'm not sure why there's twice the number of salad forks compared to dinner forks. Perhaps 12 of them are considered dessert forks. When you handle the flatware, it does leave some fingerprint smudges. I was very worried about this before I bought them, but I no longer worry about it as it is not so bad. Needed to replace a 17 yr old set, I decided to get this set because it has a good price, nice plain but modern design and brand goodwill. It has 36 additional pieces compared to most 12 service sets. Not as light as I read in some reviews, for large units have a good weight, all pieces are longer than my previous set, I like the extra coffee spoons and the extra salad forks. These ones being longer than other models can be perfectly used as main forks for larger crowds. The sauce spoon is plain vs plaid model in many other sets. Only “con” so far, they are too bright tending to get the finger prints to easy, getting a dirty look when handled with bare hands (normal way to do it) ... show more

This is a lovely set for everyday use! I got this while it was on sale! The fork tines are longer than most forks. The spoons, both sets, larger than what we previously had. Perfect weight; just in the middle of not too light and not too heavy!
