I love the features of this welder. Currently have 2 Lincoln welders and this one offers a few more features. Love they way the cables connect. They have large easy to grip handles are very sturdy. The cables are very heavy duty and offer plenty of length. Comes with stick holder and MIG gun assembly. Also comes with grounding clamp, gas hose and 110/220v adapter. I tried it with gasless MIG wire welding and it was easy to setup and the welds were great. Super easy to setup the spool and feed. There is a test feed button which allows you to prefeed the wire during setup. It accommodates spools with large or small center holes. Feeder supports both .08mm and .09 mm wire. I had an issue with my first unit and after speaking to customer service and providing some info they determined that it was an internal issue with the unit. They promptly replaced the unit and apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused. Great customer service which you don't always find these days. I highly recommend this unit whether you are an experienced welder or just a beginner. I saw it today at 20% off and a $100 coupon was available. That is a super deal for this unit. I highly recommend this product.

I bought the 200A model with repairing my lawn tractor mower deck as the reason. It's been several years since I have used any sort of electric welder. I gave 4 stars because I expected an electrode type TIG tip but didn't find one. They did include a nice MIG cable. I couldn't get the wire to feed all the way through (my fault) and in my attempt to remove the wire, I broke it off in the cable (p/n 15AK 4M). I need a replacement -- I would like to purchase one asap. The cable is marked CO2 WELDING CABLE repeatedly along it's length. I ended up doing old fashioned Arc Welding with a rod and a negative ground and the positive clamp holding the rod. It succeeded spectacularly.

Took it out of the box, loaded up a 10lb spool of solid core wire, hooked up the argon and went to town on some 1/2in plate steel at 200a. It produced clean welds and behaved on par with my hand-me-down millermatic. Played around with the settings and the 4T behaved exactly like I expected, a gentle ramp up and down with a small amount of pre and post gas. The manual pre and post gas does stick around when switching between modes, remember to tweak or remove when going from 2T to 4T. I haven't taken it apart yet to inspect the internals, but after an hour long welding session I have no complaints. Edit: Added some photos of welds on dirty steel under 100% argon at 130a

I bought this to upgrade a harbor freight mig and wanted to get into tig welding. I noticed that my welds were burning through every time no matter what the amps were set at. I also noticed sometimes when starting my arc the amps would seem to be maxed out and sometimes they wouldn't even start a puddle. I've been welding thicker metals up until now and tried making a custom exhaust and went down to 25 amps and still blew through or had too much heat where the welds were grey. Going to 24 amps I could barely get a start and 25 amps i was blowing through stainless. This welder is not accurate and caused a lot of headaches trying to figure out what was going on. Last this is not a lift tig, it's a scratch start. If you try and lift tig your tungsten is going to stick to your work piece.

Well I hooked it up to 120v to try it. Things did not go well. Took a lot of effort to get it to weld with the wire feed. super sensitive on the settings. could not weld anything over 14ga. I tried the stick weld with 6011 took a bit to get it dialed in. 7018 did not work at all could not even strike an ark. One fellow on the internet said he had problems with 120v. He switched to 220v and things worked better. Once my other parts come in I will try 220v. I cannot recommend this welder at this time. I wish I would have spent the extra $50 and bought the other. I will update this feed back later to let you know how the 220v setup works. Update the company was quick to respond to this complaint. Good people, I will try there new welder that's is going to be available soon. I did not have time to deal with warranty issues I needed to get the job done. The quality build of this welder is good. I had a bad controller in mine. one in a thousand type thing.
