Bought this floor brush to assist my newly purchased Miele Boost CX1 PowerLine SNRF0 Bagless Canister Vacuum. The new vacuum wasn’t quite cutting it on heavy rugs, but this turbo brush has solved that problem. It’s large enough to cover a decent swath of doggy-haired rug and come out clean on the other side. Multiple passes are not necessary. Attaching and detaching from the wand is a breeze. Glides across all rugs plus hardwood and tile floors with ease and does not scratch wood surfaces. Cost was not easy to swallow, especially after just purchasing a compact Miele canister, but it was either this or return the vacuum. For the German-made Miele product, I opted to go ahead and buy the turbo brush. I am very pleased with its performance.

I have two long-haired cats, and if I don't keep up on my vacuuming my carpet quickly gets COVERED in cat hair. I really like my C1 Classic Miele but I was thinking about replacing it because I found it to be a ton of effort when it came to getting the hair out of the carpet. But I've had Mieles for years now and thought I'd give the TurboTeQ attachment a go before I gave up on the vacuum. I'm glad I did! This thing has made my C1 absolutely incredible when it comes to getting the hair out of the carpet compared to the AllTeQ head that comes standard with the C1. I'm able to leave the vacuum on the max suction setting and the rotating bristles agitate the hair enough to pull it out of the carpet after just a couple passes. Compared to how hard I was working to get the AllTeQ to do the same thing is like night and day. The only issue is that after awhile you'll want to clean the drum brush, as the rotating motion will wrap a lot of hair around itself. The instruction manual suggests using a pair of scissors to cut it out, and that seems to work well enough for me. WARNING: Be extremely careful around drapes, curtains and anything similar. The power of this thing will absolute rip it off the wall if you're not paying attention. TL;DR Totally worth the money if you'll be vacuuming a lot of carpet.

I have a 167lb Newfoundland dog. He is a show dog and groomed constantly but still sheds up a storm. This turbo brush is good actually too good at picking up the hair. It cloggs almost every time I use it and removing the hair from the brush wheel is a pain. I learned to take it apart (the screws are under the wheels) which takes longer but gets more hair out. Nevertheless it died after 6 months. I bought it again because its shortcomings are outweighed by how well it works when the wheel is clean.

For what this item costs, the materials should be MUCH more durable. I thought the original power head was a marginal design, but at least I could remove 2 + shaped screws and quickly clean it out. This one has 6 Torx screws, 4 of them buried under the wheels. Not only is the removing the internal parts 10x more difficult, the design is terrible. What happens when plastic is rotated at high speed ? Add a small amount of pet hair and you get FRICTION. What happens over time when plastic mixes with friction ? MELTING !! You guessed it, after just one week of use this junk seized up. I thought maybe it was due to dog hair getting trapped in the roller - nope - the cheap plastic bearings they used simply melted and fused, locking up the roller. I dismantled it and found it was not repairable. What a pathetic design. I would give this -5 stars if I could, Miele , you just made it so that I will probably never buy another one of your products again - nice work ! I do not recommend this to anyone who has anything other than light dust to pick up. A small amount of dog hair literally destroyed the roller and bearing it sits in. BAD DESIGN !!! The first photo shows what the bearing is supposed to look like. The second two show the overheated, melted mess that resulted in just a small amount of dog hair being caught in the bearing. I literally had to pry them apart, and there is no way to repair it. WORST PURCHASE EVER !!

THE PROBLEM IS, the thing doesn’t open, so you can’t clean it properly. you end up damaging it, trying to clean it, so you spend ALMOST AS MUCH FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS as you do the original vacuum. The vacuum lasts for years. But because of this flaw, it’s super still expensive. I had an Olympia model that lasted probably twelve years. It took a vacuum head that OPENED. Not THAT was a bargain!!!
