It took a few days to arrive from Europe, but the bags are genuine Miele HyCleans and they fit my S512 vacuum perfectly. There is some online discussion about the difference between the HyClean and AirClean bags. The HyClean bags I received had none of the plastic war-direction devices sewn inside the bag -- as some videos show in the early HyClean bags. These bags are unencumbered and work well. Each box comes with a set of filters. We share our home with a large black Labrador retriever, so the vacuum bags fill quickly and getting the bags at a reasonable price becomes paramount. I was looking for AirClean bags after reading the AirClean/HyClean differences online. It seems like there is a good argument for either bag based on what you want, but I decided I was fine with the lower volume but more filtration layers. Picture on this product shows AirClean and the title didn't say either Air or HyClean, so I hastily bought this one. Got HyClean instead of what they show in the picture, only realized the issue once I came back to look at the product. Yes I know, the bullet-point description on the post says HyClean... but why would I expect I'd need to read the details of my vacuum bag? I just found the pic of the same product I already owned and clicked buy. Anyway, the distinction isn't significant enough for me to bother to return it, since I need to use one of them by tomorrow. But It's annoying enough that I wanted to stomp my feet around with a bad review. ... show more

It's not worth the trouble to return, as these are real Miele bags and will work OK, but they are not the bag that is pictured on the Amazon page for this item. Miele AirClean bags come with US model Miele vacuums, HyClean are sold overseas. The AirClean model is higher capacity due to the way the pleats expand, though the HyClean will work, it is a cheaper model. Not a huge deal, but it is false advertising because I thought I was getting the more valuable AirClean version shown in their photo. Update: I see now that in small print in the description, it says that you will receive HyClean bags. Still deceptive marketing to have prominent photos of a different item. ... show more
