  • Teeny Tiny Little BadAzz.
Needed to pick something up for my cricket .22lr rifle that was the right size, right weight, and had enough magnification to help this little rifle reach out and test the kids skill levels. This little Mid-Ten Scope did just that. Just enough magnification to make you think you were looking through a bigger scope. Nice clear glass with no distortion. Surprisingly adjustable give the size. You'd think that with a scope this small that you would only get just so much adjustability, but this one has a good deal, so if you're running something that has a high rise mount, or a very low mount, this should work well with both. I'm also pretty impressed by the finish and overall feel of this scope. Heavier than a "cheap" scope should be. ... show more

  • Slightly larger than LPVO, relatively large FOV, tall rings are included.
I got it for my new Tippmann M4-22. This scope is slightly larger than LPVO, but has a zoom range from 3x to 9x. 40 FOV or field or view is also in the top end of the scale considering the short 20mm tube and relatively low magnification. The optical controls are just two rings: magnification level and diopter. Elevation and windage reticle control turrets are cap free with pop-up style adjustments. Tall rings with cut outs for witnessing iron sites are included. They have a single row of screws, which is adequate for short scopes as they don’t have a lot of real estate for two / three screw row rings. The scope is well built, no plastic parts and it’s only suggested for 22lr because of relatively low magnification, which is the most suitable for 22lr rounds as they are only effective up to 150 yards. My limit is the range, I only have access to 100 yard outdoor range, so it’s a perfect choice for my setup and I can even try it with my 5.56mm DDM4V7. ... show more

  • Compact scope for 22 rimfire
Initial review the scope is more than enough power for small game hunting. The scope rings that come with it suck. They do not completely tighten to the scope base.

  • Add a lever and you're good.
For $40, this isn't a bad deal. Comparing it against a similar budget scope, an $80 Monstrum 3-9x32, it does pretty well. The only significant differences came down to 4 things. 1. The eye relief is more forgiving and comfortable than the Monstrum. 2. The sight picture is maybe 10% smaller. 3. The reticle is thicker which would be annoying at longer ranges. 4. No throw lever. The first three are really only noticeable if you're planning to shoot long range. If you are, you're probably already burning money and you'll want a scope 20x this price. A throw lever to control the magnification would have been nice though. For anything below 400 yards, this is probably all you need So cheap you don't care if you break it at the range. The thicker reticle won't obscure your target. Compact and will fit in your case. The photos don't do either scope justice. It was hard to move the phone camera in the right position. Just pretend both are double the resolution. Neither one has a clarity issue. ... show more

  • Not a bad scope for a 22 rifle. i dont suggest larger than that
Definitely for 22 rifles. The view through this is crystal clear. Install is easy, 4 screws to remove from the scope rings and place the scope on the base half of the rings. Put the top half of the rings back on and put the screws in and finger tighten them down just enough where the scope can still rotate in the rings. Now loosen the screws on the bottom side of the ring base and sit on the rifle. Once you sit them on the rifle tighten that screw down until the rings are secured on the rifle mounted rail. Now look through the scope and rotate it until the crosshairs are lined up and level. Once you have gotten this far tighten the screws in the scope rings down. Do not crank on the screws or you will strip the threads out of the scope rings. I personally dont like the rings like these but they came with it so im gonna rock them. The scope holds a zero and i can easily shoot a bulls eye at 100yards with it. ... show more

  • Not a great optic, but it is pretty great for the price.
While I certainly wouldn’t call this a great scope, it is really decent for the current $40 price tag. It comes with a pretty cheap set of rings that I chose to not use. I have dozens of scope rings so I chose to go with a better set I had on hand. The Mil-spec style reticle is bold and easy to see. It’s very easy to adjust and lock the turrets (I love the locking feature). It doesn’t do the best job of absorbing light and I did find it a bit difficult to see through it at dusk. It’s everything that you would expect from a $40, low recoil “plunker”. I initially ordered this for my new Henry Golden Boy .22 WMR, but decided I wanted something a little more “vintage“ looking for it. I think I’ll swap this out to my .17 HMR instead. It’s perfect for target practice, varmint hunting or just back yard plinking. It’s no Leopold Gold Ring, but for the price it’s a pretty solid choice. ... show more

  • 3.5/5 Stars, Very much a you-get-what-you-pay-for scope
Notes: + The eye relif on this is surprisingly very forgiving, 3.2 to 4.9 inches + Build quality is good with a sturdy feeling scope body and smooth magnification rings. = This is a Second Focal Plane (SFP) Scope, meaning the reticle stays the same size regardless of zoom = Turrets feel good enough. The tactile feedback feels slightly mushy but it's far from the worst I've seen and I think it's acceptable. Worth noting is that both elevation and windage are locking. = There's no side focus dial but the minimum focal distance is about 15 yards = Image quality isn't the sharpest or brightest but that's to be expected from a scope of this price - There is very noticeable chromatic aberration in the glass - Rings feel like typical cheap toy scope rings. They'll work just fine, but they don't feel beefy at all. - The covers distort the image to the point where it's super blurry and you might as well have non-transparent covers. Mounting this on a 457, it doesn't have an issue with the recoil although there's practically none to begin with. Price: $39.99 at time of review I know this meant to be an ultra budget scope and the cheapest scopes from name brands are easily 2 times as much, but the difference in quality is very noticeable and I'm not sure I would even recommend this for a 22. ... show more

  • Compact Scope with Good Clarity for the Price
The compact size is a nice advantage because it doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight, while still providing a useful 3-9x magnification range. The glass is reasonably clear for the price, especially at the lower and middle magnification settings. The crosshair reticle is simple and easy to use, and the locking turrets have a nice positive feel when making adjustments. I also appreciate the zero-reset feature for making adjustments after sighting in. The included 21mm rings are convenient and made installation easier on a compatible rail. The scope feels solidly constructed, and the compact design works particularly well on a smaller rimfire setup. ... show more
