There is a lot of variety packed into this small box of goodies! It says that you will get over 13 full size snacks but 5 of those packages are small candies - 2 of them are like a peppermint sized candy, 2 are watermelon candy and one is a small bag of essentially pop rocks. That's not really what I think of when I read "13 full-size snacks" in the description. The rest of them are larger snack sized bars or candy bar type treats. These are comparable to the size of snacks you'd find around the cash register at your grocery store. They come all packed together in a cute box with an informational sheet inside that describes what each snack is. The customer service seems to be good, and they indicate in several areas that freshness and quality products are important and if you happen to accidentally get anything expired or poor quality, they will work to replace it for you. I did not have any expired items in my box. My kids and I are excited to dig into these exotic treats and check them all out! This could certainly be a fun giftable package to people that like to try new and different foods they can't normally find in stores. ... show more

    • Smaller box than I expected, but good selection of snacks

Review of: Midi International Snack Box | | 13 Full-Size Snacks In comparison to other gift-type snack boxes I’ve tried before, the Matleas International Snack Box is a really fun assortment of snacks. Some of the ‘full-size’ snacks, about 5 of items in the box, are just little individual candies, but I did get two of a couple of those, it’s close enough that I think the total number of ‘full-sized’ snacks to be equivalent to 13 snacks. The selection that I received the snack pack is, for the most part, what is shown in the pictures on the product page. There are some savory snacks as well as the sweet ones, and, for me, that is what makes for a nice, selection of snacks. Although I know I could eat chocolate all day long, having the savory snacks interspersed with the chocolate makes for a welcome change-of-pace. I first tried the Danker Poti and found that the cake was kind of dry and it didn’t have much chocolate filling, but I did like the chewiness of the coconut so it was an acceptable quickie snack to have. Next I tried the Wanted Karamel, this was one I didn’t see listed on the included leaflet; to my taste buds it was a crispy kind of candy with a caramel filling and more than decent tasting and decent thickness of a chocolate coating. The Wanted Karamel was really fresh and crunch and made for a good ‘sweet’ snack. My third try was with what I consider to be my favorite savory testing so far; the Krispy Taco sticks. I, and another member of my family, thought these were extraordinarily good. They are small, thin ‘sticks’ that are nice and crunchy, fresh tasting, are just slightly salty and have just the right amount of minimal taco flavor. A first rate snack. The expiration date on the box is right around 6 months into the future and the expiration dates on the individual snacks that have dates listed are all as long as the box listing, or even longer. In all cases, it’s more than enough time for me to easily get through the entire snack pack. Overall, I consider this to be a decently good variety of snacks from an area of the world where I wouldn’t normally be able to sample the ‘local’ snacks that are available. I look forward to trying the rest of the items in the box. ... show more

dont let the photos trick you, this thing is EXTREMELY SMALL. package is about 6"x4"x2". each piece is bite size or smaller.
