I bought this to add to my XBOX Gamepass ultimate acct, this will convert ot 4 months of UGPass. I normally purchase the 3 months Gamepass digital cards but AMAZON decided stupidly to prevent the use of an Amazon gift card balance to pay for these. I have been using Amazon Gift cards for over 5 years to purchase the 3 months Gamepass cards. I really am getting fed up with Amazon changing policies for NO Reason. It make no sense why I cannot use my Amazon Gift card funds to pay for this. I ended up having to pay for my 2 3month Gamepass digital cards with my store Credit card. I hope they change this Stupid policy otherwise I will drop my Amazon sub and not renew it. ... show more

This was purchased for a friend who lost his job and was struggling to find another job. So I gave him a Gold Xbox Live Membership. We would play in the evening after work. Even though he has a job now he still plays Xbox with me on the evenings and weekends.

Was kinda on the edge about buying this because it's normally 60$ and for it to be priced at 49.99$ had me doubting whether or not it was real. Just got it in the mail today, a week earlier than it said it would be here so that's great, code worked perfectly fine. Worth the buy, thank you!

    • It does work even if it has some non English writing on it!
Many reviewers have complained there is non-English writing on them but that does not affect whether it works. It does work. You simply tear off the cover that hides the code, and type the 25 digit code in on your xbox console, or online at your Microsoft account page. The number is not foreign LOL. If you were expecting to be able to read the instructions, you really don't need to. It's easy. You can do it in a browser, just go to xbox.com there will be links to follow to "redeem a code" Or on your xbox 360 console, Sign in to the Microsoft account for which you want to use the prepaid code. Press the Guide button on your controller. Select Games & Apps, and then select Redeem Code. On an xbox One, From the Home screen, scroll right to Store. Under Games, select Use a code. This card will give you the full year of Live on all your consoles. It saves you a little money compared to buying it directly from Microsoft. ... show more

Turns out game pass core and gold are the same things. Don't waste extra money getting a gold pass thinking you're getting anymore than a core pass.
