The console is what seems to be in amazing condition- the controllers on the other hand are the cheapest third party you can possibly get ..I believe they did the so the cold sell the real controllers separately to make a little more money..these can be bought for a little more than 10.00 from the co. That makes them. I ended up buying two actual Xbox controllers for another 80.00 ( hopefully they work ) but they are oem S controller s but again this was listed in description..I just have to wait now to take full advantage of my system ... show more

This thing is a dinosaur from an almost bygone era of when single player games were still king, co-op was novel yet welcome and the market wasn't over-saturated with CRAP (or did it START the rather downward era we live in today?)...and yet I took the chance to re-buy this bulletproof monstrosity to reaffirm that it was in fact my favorite console growing up despite in maybe even BECAUSE of the console's many flaws. Half of my would be 'top ten' games were included in the original Xbox's library, and I'm so happy to be revisiting them all once again in an age of disappointment on the PS4, XBOX One and Switch. By no means am I calling the Xbox the best console out there nor am I saying it has the best library...but both are my favorite in each category. The used one I ordered feels like its got weight to get rid of in dust alone, the disc tray is sticky and sometimes doesn't open and the thing kicks up a bigger racket than I remember from the fan probably overheating...but it works and works well! I probably got lucky, but I'm happy that I got one that worked in the end. I mean how could you not love playing Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, KotOR 1 and 2, Fable and Halo 1 and 2 among many others all over again? Think about it...I'm having more fun with a game I've played a hundred times already than I am anything brand-spanking new? Sure, give it time and the XBOX One marketplace will have all the golden oldies or will be patched to support your old Original discs, but why wait or even buy that overpriced XBOX One or One S just for that chance? Anyway...I typed this while sick and after a Friday the 13th marathon on Halloween so I may have gotten carried away...but I love this damn console. I only really give it one less star than it probably deserves cuz it has a controller pictured and whether it said so or not (which I didn't read to be fair) it did not actually come with one and I had to buy one off a friend. But still, get this damn dinosaur egg and a controller and you'll have yourself a fine Jurassic Park in no time~ ... show more

Its just like advertised 40,000+ emulated games,50+ emulated consoles,80 original xbox games,on the system,was shipped quickly and in great condition,works with no problem,its just as advertised, its tons of fun,you smiply turn on the system,and get ready to be lock into the couch for hours of old school gaming,your gonna be playing and enjoying every old school game ever imaginable from your childhood,the arcade emulators alone are worth it weight in gold,but most important is the great customer service your gonna receive from Sprinkle Boutique,Cordon Brandon is a classic gamer who,is gonna touch face with you before and durning the making of your xbox to insure you the customer an excellent quality product,and excellent coustomer service,you can either email,Skype,txt or call him, this dude does nt mind,he will contact you back ASAP,to insure great customer service and product,he let me chose every single original xbox game that I wanted,and he was really kewl and patient with me, answering all the question I had about the system,and erasing any doubt of buying from a new vender on amazon,this dude is very trust worthy,he maybe new to amazon but he s got a ton of excellent reviews on ebay,like I said I have had no problems with the system and ive had it since xmas, if any one says any thing else its a lie, or they probably jus don't know how to properly operate each emulator,it took me about a month to go threw all the emulators and how to properly operate each one, but I would say 95% of the emulators are very user friendly just click and play,while only about 5% takes some technical know how,just because some of the consoles are so dayum old school,but every system advertised is on it,over all its the best modded system ive ever seen,and ive seen a lot of em.it works great,i would highly recommend buying one frm him,esp if your an old school gamer like me,so many games on it i have nt even gotten to the og xbox games,i am already thinking of buying a second one that's how much I love it.Thanks for the best video game console ive ever owned CB came as promised,it was one of the best xmas gifts I ever got...Thanks MOM LOL... ... show more

    • This is a Time Machine for us old school gamers!
I've waited entirely too long to write this, but I took a couple of months to thoroughly test this system out. I found very few problems or games that would not work at all and the newer the system, the fewer of these kind of problems there were. This system is a Time Machine! I've been a gamer since 1978 and this system took me almost all the way back. I really enjoyed not having to deal with the problems involved with PC emulators. You simply hook this up to your TV and go. The only drawbacks, and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is one, the Jaguar Emulator has no or terrible sound. It would not have affected my decision to purchase the system, but I would have preferred to have known ahead of time. Second, The menu system is a tad complex and I found out the hard way it is entirely too easy to delete games permanently from the system. My kid deleted one of the games I bought the entire system for because I left the menu screen up and he got on it. On the plus side, the seller did offer to let me ship it back and have them put it back on. Also, I contacted them several times with questions and they were always happy to try and answer my concerns so if I could, I'd give the service and seller 5 stars and 4 just to the flaws of the actual product. ... show more
