I just got it today and connected it to my Surface Pro7. After first connecting, the tablet was stuck on the Windows screen. After momentarily panicking, I went online and followed basic instructions for what to do when the tablet is stuck on that screen. I held down the power button until it shut off. Then I powered it back up. After logging in, both the tablet and keyboard worked well. I will see if there are any issues tomorrow, but I am currently pleased. The backlight is a big help.     • Keyboard cover came as expected
It took two weeks for this keyboard to arrive. It took 8 days for the seller to ship it out from the time I initially ordered it. Probably a back order on his/her end. I connected the keyboard cover and it worked instantaneously without any restart. Works like a charm!

    • Occasionally disconnects. Top row key setup different from original Microsoft keyboard
Occasionally not recognized by surface pro 6 but taking keyboard off and reattaching a couple times seems to fix that at least for a while. Key setup of top row differs from original keyboard (which is the same as the Surface Pro Type Cover - English offered by Microsoft online), so I'm not sure if this is a refurbished real Microsoft product. However, you can get used to it. Strangely replaces screen brightness keys with keyboard backlight control keys (now I have to use Win + A to open action center or click on it directly to click and change brightness). An insert button was added left of delete, when original just has insert keyed to Fn + Del. Changes marked by * *. Original from left to right: escape, screen brightness down, screen brightness up, pause/play, mute, decrease volume, increase volume, keyboard backlight cycle, print screen, home, end, page up, page down, delete. The pictures show a full, normal, L. Shift key. The one they sent me, the Shift is divided into 2 keys where the \ is moved, and turned the "Enter" key into a double decker key. Why this one was done, no idea as there's literally no purpose other than to shake up your typing flow. My buddy has a Surface and his kb is not like this so there's no excuse.
