This headset is very comfortable and value for the price. I do have some problems with the noise from the cord if it brushes up something it produces a sound that only I can hear. I love this. I'm in online meetings all day, and this headset works flawlessly. People can hear me well and I hear them well. I don't hear much of the noise around me with them on, which is good and bad (but probably good). Having a microphone attached to a fixed position in front of my face has really helped people hear me better. I bought this for remote work outside of my home office, after accidentally leaving my cordless headset behind. Unlike my cordless headset, this one has been very consistent with it's connection and clarity in Teams and Zoom. It's light, has crisp sound, and is worth the relatively small expense paid.     • Purchased specifically for Teams use; a bit uncomfortable on the left ear
These headphones work well for Teams use. The buttons on the controller are straight forward and easy to use. The mic is unobtrusive. The only downside I've encountered is that after about an hour of use, my left ear starts to hurt. The reason for this is because the left side ear piece doesn't move as freely as the right side. It doesn't "give" as much in terms of rotation in comparison to the right side, although neither side is really meant to rotate. I think this might be due to the fact that the left side is what houses the mic. I still like them, and especially like that it's USB rather than aux, but if you're looking for something that will be comfortable for all-day wear, these might not be for you. For reference, I'm a female with an average sized head. These will probably be even more uncomfortable if you have a larger sized head. ... show more

For the price and compatibility with Microsoft Teams, This is a good overall headset. Audio is clear in the earphones, microphone transmits clear audio and doesn’t seem to pick up a lot of ambient background noises, so I’m told from people on the other end…. The mute/volume control is great. Mute on/off button will work even if your engaged in another program while the meeting is taking place. Cons: while the ear pieces are decently padded they do not cover your entire ear. I wear glasses and after awhile they do press my ears agains my eyeglasses causing a little discomfort. Simple work around, I just wear the headset a smidge lower and a hair further forward on my ears so not to push too much against my glasses…. These by no means are to replace a gaming headset. This is simple clear audio and a clean microphone to communicate in Teams meetings on the importance of using a cover page on TPS reports. ... show more

Okay, I'm trying out the wired headsets for our office, and they're amazing. At this price point, Microsoft will have a hit with offices. Microsoft fit themselves between Plantronics' low-end blackwire 3000 series which is around $40 and their next models (the 5000 series) which is around $80. It destroys the 3000 series on all levels from build quality to audio quality to comfort. I will argue it's more comfortable than the more expensive 5000 series and audio quality is debatable and when it's debatable, you go with the cheaper one. I got really good comments from fellow office workers who tried out their new headsets too. First comments were how soft and comfortable the headsets were. A couple of them were regular users of the Plantronics Focus UC wireless headsets. I always thought the Focus headsets were comfortable but my office workers said these Microsoft ones beat it. They said the audio quality was better on both sides (caller, receiver) with the Microsoft though it's a bit unfair to compare because the Microsoft ones are wired and the others are meant to travel around the office up to 100 ft. We use softphones for the majority of our staff (IP desk phones are maybe 30% while softphones are 70%). I can imagine replacing the Plantronics headsets with these Microsoft ones if they hold up to the abuse (office workers are far more abusive to equipment than consumers because consumers usually pay for their own equipment). Another advantage for Plantronics is because of its ubiquity, you can easily find replacement parts like ear padding covers. Unless these Microsoft ones become a smash hit, you have to hop the padding lasts an extremely long time. We haven't tried the Teams integration yet as our primary phone system is RingCentral. We use Teams for video calls and messaging mainly with the occasional audio calls. These are definitely worthy of a purchase. I can't believe the value you get. For this price range, you don't expect the material to feel so supple and full of quality. I haven't tried the wireless yet. I can't imagine replacing the Focus UC yet because 1) RingCentral softphones only allow Plantronics headsets to answer calls from the headset (all other headsets require that you answer on the computer on or on the wired controller) and 2) the Focus UC has a 100 ft range. ... show more
