We have a Kohler slotted wooden dish drying/drain rack that sits over our large farmhouse kitchen sink, and it’s becoming a bit worse for wear due to constant water exposure, requiring frequent oiling; also, sometimes stacks of clean utensils/pans/pots, etc. left to dry want to slide off. Enter the 18x24” version of this high quality silicone mat, placed on top of the wooden rack, and all our problems are solved—no more moisture on the wooden rack, no more sliding pans—and since this mat extends to the rim of the sink, we have more drying capacity. It holds water well without spills,, dries quickly, grips well to prevent sliding, and is easily rinsed off or washed in the sink. We bought 2 smaller 12x16” versions of the same mat to place on the bottom shelves of our Samsung refrigerator to catch any spilled or leaked milk, juice, etc. since we recently had a leaky milk jug create a disaster—unlike the upper shelves, the lower refrigerator shelf is not sealed to contain fluids at the edges, and removing the bottom shelf for drying/cleaning leaks and spills is a nightmare. No more with these mats in place—spills are contained by the mat grooves and raised margin—just a simple wipe up for spills, and if necessary, a breeze to pull out and wash off in the sink. The profile is low so no obstacle removing jugs, bottles, etc. from the refrigerator. And the lichen blue color is beautiful and a perfect match for or decor. I bought a small one and a large one so that I can have a dedicated mat for my portafilter and a utility mat for anything else I want to put on it. I end up usually just putting the scale on it lol. These drying mats are incredibly easy to clean. Coffee spots wash off incredibly easy. Whenever I get some coffee ground on it, rinsing the mat completely removes them. The grounds don't stick to the mat at all. I've spilled some hot coffee on it and the mats are still holding up! Appearance-wise, they look great. They are pretty true to color in the pictures and complement my other gray mat pretty nicely. I wish they would have a combination of sizes that would perfectly fit 30 inches (size of the main mat) but it's okay that they don't. I know you can cut them to desired size but it won't have that same clean look. I haven't put anything super hot on it yet, but they seem to be perfect for my needs. I got them at a small sale price, so it was a no brainer to get them! Solid buy! 5/5.

I haven't been using mine for any type of draining. I live on a farm so we have a lot of hand washing. To keep from buying so many small liquid hand soap dispensers and/or refilling them so often, I repurposed a large pump bottle from body wash and I refill it with hand soap refills. Often times, I would come in the bathroom and find soap on the countertop from the bottle to the sink, so I decided to buy a mat to put down to catch the soap drips and this works perfectly. I flipped it over so the bottle could sit more evenly on the ridges and every morning after I brush my teeth I just give it a few wipes and it's clean from drippy soap. The color is vibrant, the mat is well made, thick enough to be stable and if something happened to this one I would buy another one.

Really good drying that a little bit on the smaller side which is why I'm getting it four stars but this is perfect for about two glasses nights things like that and still keeps the area clean but I also love are being silicone that it can be washed in the dishwasher when needed

I bought thoses cloth dish drying mates n I got sick of tossing them in the washing machine n dryer. Now I use them to put my dog's food n water bowls on them. I did some research n found this one. Quality, appearance, heat resistance n versatility n value for the money is all good. You can even use it if you have a bar in your basement, garage or dinning room it's good for spill prevention too when your mixing drinks to fast. It's worth the value of money. N if you have bad water n you see lite white spots on it, toss it in the washing machine with warm water n a splash of white vinegar n BAM !!!!! the spots are bye bye Spoter !!!!! I recommend it 1,000%

when I searched Amazon for a "knife sharpening mat," one of the things it served me was this and it's really nice for this use. The right size, has nice grooves on both sides so it wont slide around on a wet surface, and holds your sharpening stone really well. I'm also a grandpa so I can see lots of other uses. Looks like quality, costs little, and get this- it has a hole for hanging!! (Many don't). What can I say- Mikey Likes It. as nice grooves on BOTH sides so it doesn't slide around on wet surfaces, does the job and looks good, and cost's roughly half the price. I know it's marketed as a dish mat but I've used it for sharpening and it works great. I'm keeping that one. And no I'm not a fake review and I'm not an AI.
