I have several variations of this bag but the others are larger and don't have a shoulder strap. The size of this bag is perfect and the shoulder strap makes it more practical than the larger ones because it can get heavy quickly if you use it for your laptop - not crazy heavy but too heavy to want to carry by hand. Anyway, this bag is great, the strap adds functionality, and the charm is super cute. I took a pic of the bag with the charm but found it awkward to attach. I think the opening of the clasp needs to be bigger to comfortably fit the strap because it actually broke when I took it off. I added a different charm that I think contracts the color nicely and haven't had any issues with attaching or removing that one. This would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the broken clasp on the charm. Overall I recommend the bag but not with the charm. ... show more
