I own a couple of their products and really enjoy using them. I mostly do kayaking and magnet fishing so I use lots of ropes for anchors and for pulling trash and treasures from the water. The rope is strong and perfect for use in the water and all of my general all-purpose rope needs.

Got this anchor rope to use on my backup anchor. The loop connection is sturdy and braid is solid. The rope has not bled its color. Would recommend for the price and will get again if needed.

Love this rope, comfortable while pulling up the anchor and doesn't tear your hands a part. Have used it many many times over last few weeks, and has no issues as all where I thought it might break. In fact, my anchor got stuck on a tree once and the chain wouldn't knock it loose. Ended up having to pull a 15 foot tree up to get it and this rope held no problem at all! The rope is super Duper, thick and heavy duty. Whatever you’re tying up with this rope hopefully it’s your boat, and it’s not going anywhere. It’s very good quality. And to be honest, it looks good too.

Superior Quality Rope but problem with unfinished manufacturing burrs left on thimble Very Good double braided nylon rope with permanent eye with metal thimble at one end. I am a rope, knot, and “reeving” aficionado so I am very particular about ropes. This is a great rope but I am not using it for its stated purpose of using as an anchor rope. I am sure this rope would work well for that purpose. This rope is made of nylon and it will float well. The double braid is too loosely woven and thus the rope is soft, supple, and “squeezable”. This means it is a very flexible rope that feels good holding and handling the rope but it is also too easy for otherwise non-jamming knots to jam. A jammed knot is almost impossible to untie. There are non-jamming knots and jamming knots. So you had better study your knots before tying up with this rope. This rope certainly deserves a full 5 star rating except for the unfinished manufacturing burrs left on thimble. One of the other reviewers also pointed out the unacceptable sharp edges left on the thimble that will cut the rope. In metal fabrication often times the normal manufacturing process leaves dangerous sharp burrs on the metal that can cut you. Along the manufacturing line, one person is supposed to “de-burr” by grinding, or machine sanding, away these dangerous sharp burrs. Another person is supposed to inspect the first person’s work to be sure the dangerous sharp burrs have actually been removed before the product is shipped out. Both of those people failed doing their job so the thimble manufacturer has low Quality Control standards. Additionally, the person who attached the bad thimble to the eye splice should have rejected that thimble. I was able to pull out the thimble and use a fine cut round file to smooth away the dangerous burrs. It was a lot harder re-inserting the now safe thimble. Now I have a great rope to reeve into a quadruple : triple block. ... show more
