I’m in love with these shoes! I was a little skeptical if they were real leather because the price is actually decent for real leather. The smoked edge is so pretty and gives them more dynamic eclectic style. Even the little ‘M’ buckle is super cute. Really looking forward to wearing these with just about anything this summer. Every little detail is super pretty the stitching on the black heel and the decorative outer stitches, where the overlaps of straps meet. Have not spent a day in them yet they feel fine on first wear obviously I will not be wearing them to walk around the city or something, but definitely for work in a business casual environment. ... show more

These Michael Kors Women’s Raven Block heels are undoubtably beautiful. They remind me of popular shoes from the 2010 era— which was my favorite shoe fashion era, so I love it! They’re super easy to walk in. The blocked heel gives you 4” of height without the instability of a stiletto heel. The wide strappy design is also very comfortable. But the buckle design is not the best. It’s designed with a protection piece behind the buckle to keep it from rubbing but it's so stiff that it ends up rubbing on my ankle bone itself. It defeats the whole purpose. The left shoe tends to rub more than the right side. I tried loosening the straps (because I had them on the tightest strap hole to begin with) and it did help. It’s not so uncomfortable that I can’t wear these shoes, but it’s just something to keep in mind. If you’re someone who is sensitive to stuff like that, it may be a deal-breaker. At this price, I would figure a lot more thought would go into the design and there wouldn’t be any parts that rub. It’s like the ankle straps sit just a hair too high and hit at the ankle bone when they should sit just a little bit lower. But overall, they are really beautiful, high-quality shoes.
