Description

The legacy started with our most iconic work pants: the Original 874. Since we first introduced the 874 in 1967, its distinctive fit—with a high-rise structured waistband and rigid, non-stretch fabric—has made it a favorite among workers across trades. Our highest rise, relaxed fit, straight leg. Iconic since 1967. Built with a structured high rise waistband, a relaxed fit, and our signature non-stretch twill fabric that softens with wear, the Original 874 Work Pants are trusted on the job and after hours. Low rise, slim fit, straight leg. Crafted from our signature non-stretch twill for durability, the 873 offers a slim fit through the seat and thigh. High rise, loose fit, straight leg. The 877 offers a loose fit through the seat and thigh, classic straight leg, and our signature twill fabric. High rise, regular fit, tapered leg. Classic styles, evolved. The 874 Pro work pants feature a Flex waistband, materials designed for mobility, and a sleek tapered leg style. 874 Work Pants, Work Shirts, Eisenhower Jackets, Overalls, and Coveralls—there’s a reason these are considered workwear icons, and a reason we’ve kept them around for so many decades. Our Icons are the styles that make us who we are—the ones you wear again and again because they look timeless and they just don’t quit. Those familiar with the 874 have nicknamed it “the king of pants,” and it’s no wonder why. Our signature style is crafted from a rigid, twill workwear fabric that’s built to wear in over time for comfort while maintaining its durability. The pants are creased at the center for an instantly recognizable look that’s unique to Dickies. The work shirt pairs with the 874 for a coordinated look. It’s simple, straightforward, and built for utility. The Eisenhower jacket—understated yet iconic, often imitated but never replicated—completes our “Dickies Suit,” a daily uniform that’s trusted on and off the job. The Icons don’t stop with the Dickies Suit—they don’t even start there, really. In 1922, when we first opened our doors, we sold one product: overalls. Made for utility and crafted from durable denim, our overalls stay in rotation because they get the job done—for ranchers, DIYers, and so many more. Inspired by our original workwear staple, coveralls combine the same function you’d expect with our signature twill fabric to round out our most iconic workwear.

Size up 1
Color: Black Size: 29W x 30L
I have these in the hunter green (camo) amd they're true to size. The black however run 1 size small. I returned my 28 for a size 29. Much better. I cut the bottoms of mine as well.

Run small, size it up
Color: Mushroom Size: 32W x 30L
They go small, Im 5'8", 165lbs, usually 32x30 fits just rigth in most brands Levis, Izod, whatever, can't even close the zipper on this one, my dingus prints in the front if I manage to close it, I will try a 34 or even 36, if you want one, size it up. Length is right. Anyway, the pant is good, sturdy looking material, is not soft but nothing uncomfortable probably gets right after break it in, reinforced stitches on pockets. I think they would work great for a technician, salesman or an engineer, those jobs where you have to look like a human being with a polo shirt but sometimes needs to do something without ripping your pants while crouching or for daily abuse of the regular Joe, will try another that fits ... show more

Great Pants
Color: Khaki Size: 46W x 32L
Great pants but buy one size up in the waist. They are well made, comfortable, and good looking. They are Dickies brand what more needs to be said.

RUN SMALL…REALLY SMALL
Color: Navy Size: 44W x 34L
I researched these and everyone said that they run small, so I sized up 2 sizes. No good. I am probably going to end up six sizes up from what I regularly wear. Of course I bought them during Prime days, which has now ended, which really sucks because I’m returning them and I have to try the larger size at double the price of what they were on sale. The other thing that sucks is that in the larger sizes you have the choice of a whopping two colors. Availability for tall guys is absolutely terrible, even on the Dickies site. Come on Dickies, how about getting some inventory to the market? ... show more

Nice work pant but can also be appropriate in casual settings. Rugged.
Color: Black Size: 40W x 30L
I've been buying these Dickies 874 pants for years. To me the 874 pant is both a rugged work pant and one that can be worn in a casual setting. Its distinquishing characteristics are a heavy duty fabric, wide and numerous "tunnel" belt loops a brass zipper fly and a serious, crisp fabric finish which gives these pants a rugged look. When new, they can almost stand up on their own. The cotton/polyester blend fabric is heavy duty and can take abuse. Negatives? I wish the tunnel belt loops were bigger. They handle 1 1/4" wide belts but if you're wanting a 1 1/2' western belt you may struggle with a tight fit. As with many mens pants, inseams and waist sizes are even numbers so you may have to be flexible on fit. In my case a 40" waist is fine but I need a 29" inseam length so I buy the 40/30 and my wife hems the pant legs to 29". I would prefer a button waist closure instead of the “hook and eye” which can sometimes come loose as you cinch your belt tight. Overall, these are nice pants and the prices here on Amazon are very attractive so I can have a number of pairs in a few colors. ... show more
