This has very much the classic Michael Kores look, quintessential. The material, although synthetic, feels and looks sturdy. Polyvinyl obviously can't really be compared to true leather, but I appreciate that it'll make thia bag easier care for and clean it necessary. It's a big bag! Definitely not for lovers of the tiny, compact purse, but perfect for those of us who need to carry a load of stuff with us. With my wallet and makeup bag, I still have a ton of room. I got this bag for my mom who is in her 60’s. The design, in my opinion, is geared for middle aged people and older. She says it’s the perfect size to hold a decent amount of things but still doesn’t feel overly large. It’s well made and feels durable, so I have no doubt the shape will hold. You can definitely use this as a work bag as it feels professional enough, but you can also use it as a statement piece if you wear something more casual like a white tshirt and jeans.
